But I don't know why.
I pm'd the person twice who gave me the infraction to ask them why but they haven't answered even though they've been online all day.
Don't you think it makes sense to give a reason so the person won't make the same mistake again?
None of my posts have been deleted so I really don't have a clue what I did wrong.

Given the amount of spamming by people registering dozens of new accounts I'm at a bit of a loss to see how much of a threat that is to be honest.
Yes that would be easy but I don't want to do that, I've started to get to know some nice people on here. I just want a reason why, surely it makes sense to tell someone what they did wrong so they don't make the same mistake again0 -
If not making an abusive post, could you have posted a link or advertised something?:cool:0

I suppose you do have to question the deterrent value of simply doling out warnings without informing the person of what 'offence' has been committed.:cool:0

Normally if you want to query a decision, then you should send a polite email to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com
Perhaps give that a go?
PMing MSE staff is not usually the best idea, even if they do have PMs switched on. Not least because some of them seem to build up a big backlog of unread PMs, so it might not be read for many days.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
