@shaftingham - It is very unfortunate that we weren't able to resolve your claims before Christmas but we are still on the case, and of course, have a lovely Christmas!
@Hurdler - I'm very sorry to hear that you feel this way. In regards to tracking, it is worth noting that Quidco, nor any other cashback site, track your purchases. We all use the same affiliate networks to track and process transactions, which is why when purchases do fail to track, nine times out of ten it will be an issue with your browser/security settings.
We are also working hard behind the scenes to improve existing processes and to install some new ones in order to be able to provide the high levels of attention, quality and customer service that our members deserve.
Many thanks,
Rosie
As I said in my post - I have followed ALL the advice in your FAQs. I never use IE for anything other than Quidco purchases - and always clear everything.
I have Security Software on my machine - who doesn't?
I have just taken a look through your popular questions, and perhaps I cannot see for looking, but where do you lay out what issues you may have with security settings on the PC?
What exactly is it that you would suggest with respect to security, as the cashback I typically receive isn't really worth my disabling basic security on my PC to protect it. £1.76 vs a wasted weekend of rebuilding a machine? I think not.- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

Hi Hurdler,
I use Quidco and sometimes TCB.
I always use IE and have it set to delete everything on exit.
I use Firefox for normal browsing and pre-purchase research.
Tracking this year has been as good as previous years so I don't think the affiliate networks / Quidco have changed anything.

LOL.................
A few hours after my post above, Moneygaming has confirmed and gone 'green' for £50 after waiting 6 months. It missed the mid-month payment so won't get it before xmas, but will have it in New Year so that's one of my 3 whinges sorted.:j:j:j
The only worry is that Moneygaming actually tracked OK back in June, whereas the outstanding £35 BidRivals and £50 888.com didn't track - although Rosie told me the claims have been accepted these go back to the beginning of March so I am still frustrated by those two.
Never mind, at least one oldie has paid so Merry Xmas...:AUK Consumers: The Gift That Keeps On Giving......0 -

I seem to be doing the same as you but have had a much worse time.
I am glad to see I am not the only one that uses something different to do the research though - I thought I was barmy!- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

Quidco, I hope you are able to shed some light on my More Than Home Insurance purchase (£60 cashback) in August 2011. The purchase tracked with no problems and then in October I notice that the claim had been declined so I raised a ticket query.
On 7 October I received a message from Nat advising me that the transaction was declined in error by the affiliate network. It had been put back into my account as Tracked and would follow the normal process.
My Activity now had three entries for this purchase, 1 for the claim I raised (which now says claim closed), 1 saying declined (in error by the affiliate network) and a new entry saying tracked (I assume this to be the correct one restored by the Quidcare Team.)
On using Quidco in December, I notice that the £60.00 has now been removed from my tracked cashback amount and all entries now say 'Declined' and the declined date being right back to 5th October.
I know this entry was saying tracked right up until December so Quidco have declined the transaction without advising me of a reason when it all tracked correctly, the purchase is still active and it was only the affiliate network error on your part that have made things go wrong.
Every part of the tracking process was adhered to on my part so I am more than a little peed off that £60 has now been lost through no fault of mine:mad: I now see that I cannot even raise another query on this (out of time) and your FAQs tell me I need to be aware of the time limits to raise queries in future! I am another one now considering using TCB in the future

Good morning,
@Hurdler – You wouldn’t need to disable your security software or anything of the sort. What can sometimes happen is your security software can block the access of the affiliate networks, who we use to track and process your cashback.
If you add the following websites to your security software exceptions, this should allow access for the networks to track your purchases:

@shaftingham – I’m glad to hear that, I hope the others will be following shortly!
@Julzed - I know we did have an issue with More Th>n and it does sound as though you were affected by this. I'm not sure why your transaction would now be showing as declined but we can certainly look into it for you. Can I ask you to raise a support ticket with the Quidcare Team and we can certainly look into it for you. If you'd like to put FAO Rosie on your message, I will personally investigate this for you.
Many thanks,

Well I just received a totally nonsensical response from Quidcare response from the merchant in a declined query - so I am none the wiser as to whether this is going to be progressed or not.
Ok I will add the links when I get back from the break, and we'll see.
Thanks anyway.
EDIT: What really annoys the HELL out of me with Quidco is that I now have NO good reason given to me about how/why a perfectly valid and seemingly tracked purchase was declined, and I have NO WAY of asking anyone what the hell the insipid response I have just had actually means.
Simply useless, frustrating and pointless.- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

Good morning,
@Hurdler - I'm sorry for any confusion this may have caused. When you receive a decline reason on your claim, this reason will come from the affiliate network who have processed the claim, so it can be a little confusing on occasion. We're always happy to explain it, and look into it further for you.
Can I ask you to raise a support ticket with the Quidcare Team by going to Help - Why has my cashback been declined? - Contact Quidcare Team. They can then investigate further.
Have a lovely Christmas everyone, from all of us here at Quidco!
Many thanks,

@Froggitt – I’m afraid cruise.co.uk are a part of the large ongoing delay we’re experiencing with a particular affiliate network. We are on the case for you, but I’m afraid we cannot give a specific payment date at the moment.

I bought a new 3 piece suite from Furniture Village which was delivered in early March 2011. Cashback should be over £200 but I am getting repeatedly fobbed off when I raise queries. Latest response only when I had chased Quidco again:
I am really sorry your cashback has taken so long on this occasion, we know this is not ideal and I would like to re assure you that you have not been forgotten.
We are still working closely with the retailer and their affiliate network and as soon as we do have received your cashback this will be applied to your Quidco account for you.0
