On Friday morning my tracked cashback was showing a balance of approximately £80. Later in the day, I had a look and it was suddenly £31, Hmm, that's odd I thought so went on to LiveChat to see what's happened as my account wasn't showing any declined transactions. The guy on LiveChat told me they were experiencing difficulties and this would be updated asap and he assured me they haven't "lost" any details. I had another look this morning and it's still showing as £31.
Ha anyone else had similar problems?Sex and Drugs and Sausage Rolls.0 -

Hi milliondollarman76
We would expect another 30 days for the claims period, the validation period is 90 days for this retailer. After this we can get it sent off and it is usually quite a speedy response.
Thanks,

Hi Quidco Rep,
I took out car insurance with Aviva yesterday for £70 cashback, it didn't track and still hasn't tracked today. It says on Quidco's Aviva page that the cashback is for new customers only, I have Home insurance with them too and according to the quote on their site, I received a discount for this.
I used the Quidco Chat Online facility, where I raised the query 'am I classed as a new customer as it's the first car insurance policy I've taken out with them, or does it mean 'new customer overall'? I was told that it means new car insurance customer & shouldn't matter that I have my home insurance with them.
As the Aviva car insurance quote was more than my current renewal quote by £30, I am in the position now where I don't know whether to just raise a claim after 3 days or whether to cut my losses and cancel it and go with someone else, in case Aviva decline it once the claim is raised.
Also, my current Aviva home insurance runs out in a couple of weeks and I don't know whether to stay with them - as I mentioned, a car insurance discount has been applied because of this. Obviously if I do and the cashback claim for my car insurance is eventually approved, then that's fine, but if not, I can get my home insurance cheaper elsewhere too!
Aaaaarghh, I wish we knew one way or another whether we would receive the cashback within the 3 day period. I am stuck now and don't know what to do.
And the weird thing is that £70.50 has tracked for Policy Expert and I didn't even go with them, I simply got a quote! Grrrr, why couldn't it have been Aviva.Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0 -

Hi Littlewren
Thanks for your post. I can confirm if you don't have a current car policy with us then you will be classed as a new customer so should be eligible for the cashback. I can't advise on why it hasn't tracked without further details unfortunately, but if you can email me at social@aviva.co.uk with your full name, date of birth, post code and policy number I can check into this for you. So we can link your email to this post can you also include your MSE username please.
Many thanks
Dave

Hi.
I took out a car insurance policy with Sainsburys Bank on 26th March 2013 via Quidco. I should have received £51 cash back but it did not track. I have raised a claim but it is now over 4 months later and all I keep getting is the occasional automated response from your system saying that it is taking longer than expected. Please can you have a look at this as I have been patient waiting for this long. I still have the car insurance policy and can send you all the details. Please don't ask me to put in a general ticket as i have tried this but got nowhere. Thanks0 -
I hope someone on here can help you star2000, Dave from Aviva has been particularly helpful to me, it's a shame your car insurance wasn't with them.
It's disappointing when a purchase doesn't track, isn't it. I always clear all my cookies, temporary files etc. before visiting via Quidco. Did you make sure you did this too?Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0
