    Good afternoon,

@CIM – I believe my colleague answered this for you (we actually have two Rosies here at Quidco!) but I can see that it has now been escalated further for you so we can ensure the delay is not ongoing.

Affiliate networks are used by all cashback/rewards sites, and are a vital part of the cashback process. We would never remove a retailer if a purchase tracks incorrectly as:

    A) First of all they don’t track the purchases, so we wouldn’t penalise a retailer for a tracking error. Some retailers will also always track purchases incorrectly, sometimes simply because it’s impossible for the networks as they are at the moment to track the purchases at the correct rate.

    B) Although the cashback may sometimes track incorrectly, we will always persevere to ensure that you receive the correct amount of cashback that you are eligible for. This process can sometimes be quick, but can unfortunately take a while on occasion.

If a retailer were to stop resolving cashback claims then we would remove that retailer from the site, as we have done in the past.

I should have reworded that last part of my response on reading it back, I'm sorry. When I say we aren’t always able to resolve incorrect issues, I mean that we can’t always resolve them before the cashback moves to confirmed status.

However we do guarantee to resolve 100% of claims, whether the response is one we were hoping for or not. Although this process can take a little while, if you have an incorrect claim raised then we will 100% resolve this for you so you are paid the correct amount of cashback you are owed.

In regards to the statistics, these are automatically generated via historic payments, so once this delayed batch of claims does come through, the statistics will update to reflect accordingly.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

    Dear Quidco

Why are my claims from purchases in March 2011 with cruise.co.uk and April 2011 with Dell still outstanding?

The annoying point about this is - I bought items in Dec 2010 and May 2011 from PCWorld. They were both only tracked as late as Sept 2011 - I have no idea why it took so long but it seems these claims could be paid as late as mid March 2012 and still fall within your 180 days supposed worst-case. How misleading is that?

Seems clear to me Quidco should be quoting total times, not time from tracking and in doing so be more open with customers about how badly things can drag out.
  • Question for Quidco rep -

I have had an account for approx 5 years without many issues. I have noticed this week that all my orders placed with Marks and Spencer since Sep11 are missing, admittidly I won't have gone through Quidco for all of them but certainly the majority (18 orders) and none have tracked. I know I am too late for most of them to raise a claim but why would this be happening just with M&S and no other retailer I use ?

    Good morning,

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend.

@Froggitt – I’m very sorry to hear your transactions are still outstanding, and I would like our Administration Team to take a look into these for you. If you haven’t already, can you please raise a support ticket so we can investigate further?

@CIM – I do completely understand, and we do aim to be as transparent as possible with payment statistics. Unfortunately on occasion some transactions or a particular payment invoice can simply slip through the net. As we have thousands of transactions tracking each day, it is impossible for the statistics to be based purely on tracking transactions, which is why they are based on historic payments instead.

@Babiesmummy – Marks & Spencer do have quite a few restrictions on cashback, and I have listed these below for you:

Cashback is not paid on food to order, lunch to go, technology/electricals, household electricals, large appliances, gift cards, gift vouchers, M&S Money or M&S Energy products or services, Personalised Cards and Made to Measure shirts

If you have purchased any of the above then this could be why they haven’t tracked in.

    Many thanks,

    Rosie

Has anyone else ever gone to Quidco to check if there are offers on something and then used the "go to retailer" shortcut even if there was no offer? Well it seems I did this for tesco car insurance last year, there was no cashback or voucher or anything so I used a 300 points code (£3 wohooo!) when I made the application.
Chased it up with Tesco as not showing on my feb clubcard statement and apparently i'm not eligible for the points because I used an aggregator site! So be careful if quidco have no benefit on a particular product use a fresh window xx

Why have they not already looked into them? Is there no process for examining aged claims?:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Ive responded to numerous requests for information on both of these (there are two claims for cruise.co.uk). Please raise the support ticket for me as your administration team obviously ignore stuff that us mere customers raise. Im sure it wont be hard for you to find my claims.

  • Others need to be warned to save them the time, effort and money...
  • I recently cancelled my HD pack on Sky to try and save a bit of money, but I've seen that there's £50 quid cashback + £50 quid M&S Vouchers on offer and i'm obviously tempted.

Has anyone had any success with Sky upgrades via Quidco?. I accept i'll have to wait a couple of months but if it's going to roll over into 2013 then I won't bother ..

    Good morning,

@Froggitt – All delayed cashback is of course chased up on a regular basis, however we can keep you regularly updated with the status of your cashback via support ticket. We have also introduced a new team to ensure that we make cashback delays a thing of the past. Can you clarify if your Quidco username as the same as your username on here? I will be happy to personally take a look into these for you.

    Many thanks,

    Rosie
