    Quidco,

Approx 3 months ago I reported on the length of time it's taking for in-store purchases to be confirmed and paid. You said things were being improved and would be sorted by September, yet here we are nigh on November and I'm still waiting for confirmations going back to early January !

Will it ever get sorted ?

B&Q Reserve & Collect is a massive fail. Staff do not put aside items in advance and instead advise customers to directly take items off the shelf. Consequently there is no record of collecting a reserved order. There is no facility to enter a receipt number as confirmation of the purchase as with other retailers. B&Q are unable to find the transaction and so avoid paying commission.

    Please do something about this.

I've encountered this problem too, but have insisted I collect the online order as detailed. Make a complaint at the time and insist on speaking to the General Manager. Funnily enough, they usually then process the order !

Well my Sky cashback has been declined. See posts #442 and #366.
Having waited a few weeks for it to appear, I submitted a claim and gave full details of my order (HD TV, phone, broadband). Quidco rep on here stated that Sky can take 4 months to appear in the Activity page. This wasn't stated when I was ordering, or else I would have waited.
Now Sky seem to have informed Quidco that they can't find my order in their system and have declined the claim - Transaction cannot be traced. This is £115 that I was expecting to get considering Sky's good record on Quidco of tracking within 6hrs and 97.3% tracking reliability. To top all that I've tried the recommend a friend now for the M&S vouchers and it states that I haven't yet joined?!
I'm paying my bills to Sky and their accounts branch seem to be well aware of me, so why can they not find me when it comes to handing out the cash?!
  • Hi Rosie/Jules........ needless to say my 35 BidRivals and 50 888poker never showed up in October's network payments...... There's a surprise.

Now on 8 months since claim, twice the quoted average claim resolution time.

    The interminable wait goes on............

But it's showing that I've only been paid £16 when it should of been £21?

The other £5 is probably Quidco's admin fee if you haven't had it taken out yet this year.

So, my Swiftcover Home Insurance transaction that tracked normally on the 10th May 2011 (176 days ago), is still sitting at the 'Tracked' stage.

Quidco's Swiftcover Home Insurance stats say 100% paid between 90 - 180 days. So I should expect payment by the 7th November then? Because to me '100% paid between 90 - 180 days', generally means that everyone gets paid between 90 - 180 days following transaction tracking. If this isn't the case, those stats need to be updated so that people like me aren't expecting to received their cash within 6 months.....

Ah yes, sorry everyone completely forgot about the £5 yearly charge. This is the first time I've used any cashback site. Ignore me, makes sense now.

I've been with Quidco for a few years now and I STILL forget it's the admin charge when my cashback is showing £5 less! :D

Lucky you, still waiting for my AA breakdown to be paid from AUGUST 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still getting the 'I'm so sorry for the delay' replies from Quidco.

Quidco, I have still not been paid my £21 AA. How much longer? Julie on money saving expert told me back in September the payments were to be up to date by month end. It's now October and I have been waiting 14 months for this.

    Many thanks

    Good afternoon,

@cbrpaul – I’m so sorry you’re having this problem. You won’t be able to raise a claim because your purchase has already tracked. It sounds as though you have gone to the Quidcare Support Section.
You can easily contact the Quidcare Team by going to our main help page:
    http://www.quidco.com/help/

You then need to go to the contact form and select the question:

“Why hasn’t my cashback updated to Confirmed yet?”

You will get an instant response, linked directly to your purchase but you won’t be asked to raise a cashback claim. If you want to on to speak to someone in the team, simply click to continue contacting us. This will create a support message, and we aim to respond to all support messages within 24 hours.

@exel1966. I’m so sorry about the continued delays with this. Some have been brought further up to date now. It’s normal for In-Store cashback to take around 6 months but of course there have been added problems and we have been trying to sort these out. Here’s an update for those delayed longer than 6 months. I hope it helps.
    ·

B&Q is currently paid up to the end of December 2010, we hope to have January paid in the next couple of weeks.
    ·

Halfords is currently paid to the end of December 2010, we hope to have Halfords completely up to date by the end of November (as in paid up to the end of April 2011).
    ·

Debenhams - we look to clear January and February in the coming weeks.
    ·

All other smaller merchants are currently paid up to the end of February and we hope to get these up to the end of April paid by the end of November.
    ·
@almillar – I can certainly understand your frustration with this. We can have a look at your claim for you though, as that does sound a little unusual. Also, your “refer a friend” issue can easily be resolved.

Please contact the Quidcare Team via the question “Why has my cashback been declined?” then go ahead to contact them about both issues within the same support message.

@shaftingham – I’m sorry you’re having to wait. As always, we are doing all we can to hurry things along for you but I believe we have been in direct contact with you as well, so if you want to contact me please feel free to do so. Rosie isn’t here this week but I’ll be happy to give you an update.

@Heyman – it is normal for cashback for insurance purchases to take 6 months and the statistics on our site are based on payments received over the last year. If Swiftcover start to take longer, the statistics will update automatically. We will already be on the chase chasing your payment for you but I do of course understand your concern.

@tillycat123 – I’m afraid there is a particular batch of claims which AA are still looking at for us and I agree that the time this is taking is not acceptable. We have met with AA and their affiliate network about this, though, and they are taking the matter very seriously and giving it high priority. We hope to have this issue resolved very soon for you and I only wish I could be more specific for you as regards as date.

@smorie – That does sound a bit strange but we can check that out for you. Please use the contact form on our help page and select the following question:

“Why has my cashback tracked at the wrong amount?”

    Kind regards,

    Jules
