I think I'm getting somewhere with BT. The phone line is up and running and so I now need to add broadband and tv - to get the cashback for new broadband and tv as advertised at £145, do I need to click the retailer link and then login to mybt and add it from there, rather than select a new package as this will create a new account. This is what BT have advised, and they say it will create a new order number which presumably quiet can use to track the order and confirm the cashback?

    Hi Quidco.
I bought 10 x Tate & Lyle Agave Nectar (10 claims available) and bottle of Little Miracles White Tea with ginseng via ClickSnap and I keep having the offer declined. I also emailed in my claim and it was declined again without a good reason. The receipt was scanned in an clear. The details were correct. I shopped in Waitrose as per instruction and am yet to get a valid reason why, other than "the receipt has already been uploaded". I re-uploaded it as it was declined. Why don’t understand why it was originally declined. Please help clarify. Receipt ID 2653154.

To anyone who wants to go through quidco for Sky cashback.....DONT!

I signed up for Sky BB in Dec 2015. Quidco was offering £85 Cashback. I went ahead with the order, the BB was activated on 15 Jan 2016. Even after a month it did not track, so had to raise a claim and then it was updated as tracked, but 3 months passed on with no further action, and had to contact them, then quidco updated the status as further information required, and the same story no more updates, I emailed them on 3rd June to receive a generic response and the status updated as Sent to retailer . Since then no further updates, I have been contacting support every month just to be fobbed off with the same generic email response.

I am into my 8th month of contract with Sky.

Can I contact Sky? How is that possible.

I have stopped using Quidco and switched to Topcashback and made all my recent purchses (that I normally do via quidco) through them and all tracked and few payments received.

Any help here will be much appreciated.

    Hi @samkma

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a post.

I'm sorry to hear that you've had this issue with your SKY purchase.

According to their Quidco page under the Stats section; SKY will take up to 7 months to process claims from the date that the claim was raised.

However, if the claim has been over 7 months after the claim raised date, I can assure that we will already be working hard to secure the cashback for you.

When an update is received from Sky, you will be the first to know via the notifications on your account.

Don't hesitate to maintain contact our customer support team either via the contact form on the site or via social media (Twitter & Facebook) they will be able to take a more in-depth look at the status of your cashback and notify you of any updates.

    Hi @adonis10

Unfortunately if you have already have an existing phone line with BT, that would make you an existing customer with them.

If this is the case I'm afraid you wouldn't be eligible for the cashback on the broadband and tv cashback, as this is only for new BT customers.

We are sorry for any disappointment caused.

    Thank you for the response.
I will wait till the end of this month as it completes my 8th month. Is this industry regulated? or do I have to go to trading standards? where do I send a complaint?

Wow, if my hatred for BT wasn't already sky high, it is now. Absolute shambles of a company.

What about if my partner signed up for the broadband and tv separately? Is that possible?

During application for Broadband/Phone services question should get asked if a new line is required, if is the case order for new line would be made at the same time as order for Broadband/Phone services are placed.

When I took out dare I say it Plusnet ( owned by BT) services, I applied for new line (Installed by BT Openreach) and Phone/Broadband services all within the same application.

It did, I said yes. My order went through as normal and then when I queried it they said the order was only for phone, I then spoke on phone to add the rest, quidco informed me that cashback not available so cancelled it, told different things by the inept people on the live chat "help" and phone customer service staff had different info on their system (clearly not aligned). Then another random order appeared which i didn't place so cancelled that as they said I could still get cashback by adding the other services through the website - this is a lie. I then tried to add it through mybt and it won't allow me to. I will be making one more call to add it (hopefully at the price shown on the website currently) and then hope I never have to speak to the inept morons again. 1 year and everything cancelled, never to return to the shambolic company.
