• Hi i just found this thread after making a seperate post sorry.

I made a claim in March when i did my Legal & general life ins through quidco. First off all 5 months later and still no payment! Ive now been told to wait a further 6 months!!

I then went to go query it on the facebook quidco. Dont know why i bothered. Obviously because my comments weren't positive (i.e. i got paid and quidco are excellent) and more along the lines of why will i have to wait a further 6 months when ive waited 6 months already my comments kept getting deleted. I was not impressed with this.

Facebook Quidco motto is "our wall is your wall" clearly not cos when i was asking them why its taking so long they further deleted my comments. Freeedm of speech?

I then asked them outright as to why they was deleting my comments. They then kicked me off the site and unliked me from the page.

Do you really call that customer service?? Its horrendous. Can anyone else recommend a better cash back site that has better levels of service and communication and dont delete opinions and views and actually try to help instead?

Having a possible issue with Quidco myself, and I use Firefox Browser at home.

Purchased Home Insurance from Aviva in July with a £50 cashback offer, and had to raise a claim as it didn't track.

Bought a new digital camera from Pixmania a couple of weeks ago - again, needed to raise a claim as it didn't track.

On Monday this week, I bought my car insurance from Esure with £25 cashback, and this has yet to track, and I'm guessing I will probably have to raise a claim for this too.

Any idea why these purchases don't seem to be tracking? Both claims are still at 'Claim Raised' status.

    Morning Quidco,

Is there a problem with RAC tracking?

The RAC purchase I made in May didn't track and I had to raise a claim.
The next RAC purchase I made in July didn't track either and I had to raise a claim.

Both as still at 'claim raised' status. I do not believe it has been a problem at my end.

    Hope you can help.

@mum26 – I’ve checked with our payments team and they are paid up to mid May transactions. If you made your purchase prior to then, please contact the Quidcare Team and mention in your support message that I have advised they need to look into it for you. If your purchase was made since that date, your payment should arrive within the next month or so. I hope that this has helped. If you do contact the Quidcare Team please do so via the question below in the contact form on our help page:

Why hasn't my cashback updated to confirmed yet?

    Kind regards,

    Jules

Thanks Jules, Transactions were in Febuary, I have already asked about it via quidco support and this is the reply I recieved on 1st August:

I'm afraid PrePayMania are part of an ongoing delay with a particular affiliate network, and our payments team are working very hard to reach a resolution with them. We are hoping that all delayed transactions will be cleared up by the end of August if not sooner, although I'm afraid there are no guarantees at this point.

If your transaction has still not been paid by the end of August, please come back to me and I will do all I can to ensure this is paid to you as quickly as possible.

..Should I still contact them again?

  • i would like to add that i didnt break any rules on the facebook page and i have also raised this through official channels 6 times for each time to be fobbed off with waiting even longer. If you dont know how long its going to take you for cashback then you shoulldnt give a time or state what the "average" timescale is when clearly from the large majority it is not true

    Hi Quidco Rep

I still have a £50 cashback claim outstaning from the 11th January.

It was for Provident Life Insurance Policy my O/H took out via the Virgin Website. It has tracked as a Virgin Credit Card ????

Any chance you can look into this as she is bending my ear about it.

    Cheers

    Good morning,

@sausagemelons – I responded to your post on the original thread and advised you on there. It’s rare that our Facebook guys take such action but I was advised that your posts did not comply with our terms and conditions. We’re always happy to help you but we ask that you adhere to the rules of the Facebook page and ensure that you are not offensive to anyone. Also, we have contact routes for customer care related questions and Facebook isn’t really one of those. As I say, I advised you in the other thread you started.

@johnson293. We’ve been monitoring the tracking closely as always and the percentage failing to track is still below 3% of all transactions. We are working with various networks in order to further reduce this. However, I realise that doesn’t help you and I can only imagine how frustrating this is for you.

I use Firefox too, and have no trouble with tracking but I do ensure that I clear all cookies prior to every sign-in to Quidco. You also need to have your security software set no higher than “medium”. This should help. Hopefully these retailers will be able to track your purchases manually for us and approve your claims but I do appreciate that you don’t want to be raising a cashback claim for every purchase. If you continue to have tracking problems please go to the “report a problem” tab on our help page and we’ll be able to give you some further technical advice on there. Sorry – I’m not allowed to put links to there on this forum. I hope this has helped though.

@scottn. I’ve checked this for you and there is no widespread tracking issue with RAC. Please the advice I have given above and I hope it helps.

@mum26 – yes, please contact them again. Click for “more help” when the instant answer comes up and raise a support message. Tell them that Jules would like them to look into it further for you.

@wackojackouk – Oh dear. We can’t have that! I think I need to look at this one as I know some of these tracked a little unusually and I need to make sure all is OK. Can I ask you to drop me a line at juliewells@quidco.com and I’ll do my best to help.

I hope you all have a great weekend.

    Kind regards,

    Jules

    Hi,

Has anyone got an email address for Quidco for asking a question about a claim (I can't see a relevant question for what I want to ask on their website)
