Quidco take a £5 charge per year for the running of the site - Now that you have paid this years £5 any further cashback you earn will be paid to you 100%

Hi Jules,

I was wondering why it says on my page: Your next payment is 0.22p but when I look to see what has been confirmed this month it comes to £3.48?

Also, I know you can't give a definitive answer, but do you have any idea how long claims for T-Mobile may take, roughly. I'm of course referring to the £80 cashback for the Samsung contract phones, my claim was raised in June.

Many thanks,

Carrie :)

Good morning,

I hope you all had a good weekend.

@johnk68. The correct route to follow for contacting the Quidcare Team, about an existing claim is to use the contact form on our help page. The question you need is “Why hasn’t my cashback claim updated to confirmed yet?” There will be an option to go through and raise a support message if you need to discuss this with them. Whilst I am happy to look into complaints etc. via my own email address I would ask that you contact the Quidcare Team first. If you wish to raise a formal complaint we now have a link which I’ve posted below for you but this really are for escalation where all else has failed.

http://www.quidco.com/complaints

@silkyuk9 – I’m afraid I don’t have the pm facility. If you have raised claims they will be being processed and you can see the average claims processing times for each retailer on their page on our site. For claims for insurance products there is usually a holding period during which we have to hold the claims before the merchant will accept them and the relevant periods will have been advised to you via an on-screen message when you raised the claims. Vodafone have a 90 day claims holding period so this could account for why none of your claims have been resolved yet. The question you need on the contact form on help is “Why hasn’t my cashback claim updated to confirmed yet?” The Quidcare Team will be able to help. If you are not happy once you have spoken to them, of it you wish to bring something to my attention, then please raise a formal complaint and we will deal with your issue as such. http://www.quidco.com/complaints

@littlewren – T-Mobile claims have been taking 2 – 3 months to be processed so if you raised your claim in June you should be getting an update some time next month.

As regards your payments screen, it’s best if the Quidcare Team looks at this for you. Please select the following question in the contact form on our help page. They’ll be happy to advise you.

“I have a technical problem with my account/activity page. What can I do?”

Kind regards,

Jules

Hi Jules, I did as you asked and asked them to look into the prepaymania thing again but got a pretty much identical response:

I am sorry we do not have any further news at this stage. Your cashback is part of a large batch of delayed payments from the affiliate network and our payments and sales management teams are working very closely with them to try and have this resolved as quickly as possible.

We know this has been far from ideal for you and we really do appreciate your patience. We will keep your purchase up to date with any progress we make but in the meantime if you have any further questions or queries please do let us know and we will be more than happy to help.

Also I have a weird situation reagrding a gala bingo cashback, which tracked originally then went to zero, then tracked again (I was told this is normal with gala), the 0.00 one is declined which is no big deal but the other fluctuated from between 26 pounds to 0, and whenever I see it at 0.00 for a while and ask why it shoots back up again, lol!

Good morning,

@mnbvcxz - I've checked this for you and this should not have happened as we we're not waiting for information from you. There has clearly been an administrative error here, but we will process your claim for you now and you don't need to take an further action with this. I do apologise for any concern that this has caused. I cannot see how this happened. The messages are system generated for claims with incomplete information so I will look into this as a separate matter. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. As soon as we have an update from Swinton we will let you know.
Kind regards,
Jules

Sorry, late reply, but thankyou very much for looking into that for me. Fingers crossed again.

After waiting patiently for 6 MONTHS for my £90 NPOWER payment - which tracked successfully- its now been declined.

Why are companies allowed to make you wait 6 months for your money - so they can have your custom 6 months - and then rip you off.

I wouldn't mind - but npower was DEARER than my current supplier.

Hello Quico. I wondered how Quidco Instore works.

Say you register a card and use it at Halfords, you get credited with cashback. Eventually.

Is it Halfords that reports all transactions to Quidco and Quidco sifts through them until it finds a car a member has registered.

Or

Does the card company report the transaction to Quidco as they have been told the card is registeredfor this

Or

Something else.

Good morning,

@Mum26. I’m sorry your Prepaymania payment is delayed but the Quidcare Team will have investigated with the payments team before replying to your support message. The payments team will be working with Prepaymania’s network to resolve this for you as quickly as possible. I’m sorry the team didn’t have better news for you.

As regards your Gala Bingo transaction, that sounds a bit strange! I’ll take a look at it for you if you want to email me at juliewells@quidco.com.

@littlewren & @mnbvcxz – You’re very welcome!

@techspec – I’m sorry to hear that npower have declined your cashback. If you haven’t already raised a declined cashback claim, please do so and we will go back to npower and ask them to review this or at least provide us with a reason for their decision.

@ffacffipawb – Yes, I can certainly explain that for you.
When you register your card to Quidco this is linked with the network managing the In-Store cashback element of Quidco. Therefore when your card is used on one of the compatible merchants the network will track this, just how we track them when you go through us online.

Once this is tracked the network and Quidco will begin obtaining the referral fee from the merchant in the same manner that we do with online cashback.

Therefore to answer your question - the network is aware of the card registered through Quidco and with their connection with the merchant they are able to detect when a Quidco customer, with their registered card, has made a purchase.

I hope this helps. Let me know if not.

Kind regards,

Jules
