Thanks, I have sent a message to the support team so hopefully they can help with that.
Also I recently purchased Plusnet broadband and calls as there was a special cashback rate of £80. This was declined just three days after tracking despite completing it online and without any issues. The service has only just gone live this week so can't understand why it was declined already.
I actually brought the purchase forward because of the cashback and had to pay Sky a small fee to cancel our existing service so I am dissapointed about this. The problem is I have filed a claim but it will be on hold for 4 months before Plusnet will do anything about it, can you have a look at this?0 -

Hi @Water112
I am sorry to hear your cashback was declined but I am pleased to hear you raised a claim as this is the correct thing to do.
You can see on the retailer's Quidco page that cashback claims usually take around 6 months to be confirmed in your account from the date you raised the claim.
All claims do have a hold period in which the retailer will not accept claims from us however, once this time frame has passed we will send your claim to the retailer. Please be assured the hold period is included in the estimated claim payment speed of 6 months.
If you would like to discuss this in more detail, please contact us via your Quidco account and we will happily answer any further questions.

Hi. Can you please reconsider the early withdrawal of the ClickSnap Smirnoff Sorbet offer? This was promoted explicitly on Monday as being open for three days. We rushed out to buy on Tuesday morning, then came home to find it missing from the claim page.
This is unacceptable. It's one thing to cease promoting a popular offer (though strangely I believe you are still pushing it on CheckoutSmart). It's another thing entirely to induce members to buy a product then erase their promised means of redemption.
If you don't reinstate it for Tuesday purchase claims, we will have to take it up with Diageo head office.0 -

I've been keeping an watch on this thread for a long time - 131 pages proves the overwhelming probelms that people experience with Quidco, and the lack of help they get despite the public offers of help through whichever media. I suspect this post will get deleted because of "the power of Quidco", and I dare say that if I put any identifiable details, then my Quidco account will get deleted as well, because searching on the internet for "Quidco complains + problems" will bring up details of people who have questioned things and had their accounts deleted. It also comes up with a page where someone makes a complaint and is immediately swamped by lots of people putting him down, which he believes is a Quidco initiative.
Firstly - Quidco Rep, this isn't aimed at you, I am sure you help as many people as you can. It is aimed at those at the top of what was once a great company. And no, I don't want any help, thank you.
MSE, you recommend Quidco, I think you should provide some guidance in what to do when Quidco start playing for time, and six months later reject the claim. Has anyone taken Quidco to the small claims court, the FCA etc. With what results ? Do Quidco have a total get-out clause ?
My story is this - I found Quidco through MSE some years ago, some early transactions failed because I didn't understand the relevance of cookies, keeping screen shots of EVERYTHING etc etc, but the customer service reps were always lovely and did everything they could to help.
Then I had lots of successful transactions, but the more Quidco grew, the more small problems occurred, and the more customer service gave unhelpful, zombie style replies. I wrote a number of negative reviews about companies who wouldn't pay up, and they were always deleted with the statement that customer services were helping, a few months later I would repeat the bad reviews and they would be deleted again.
I had a number of complaints against one company, and because I was right, Quidco rewrote the terms and conditions to prove me wrong - amazing !
After this I turned to Topcashback. What a mistake. Three out of four transactions failed and they didn't help at all, so back to Quidco. Another problem. Quidco told me the company involved had turned me down, so I checked, and they were appalled that Quidco had blamed them, and immediately paid me what I was due. So get in touch with the company and find out who deals with cashback offers and talk to them.
Now I have another major problem, unfortunately I can't write about that at the moment. What I would like to say, especially to VictorMeldew with his Britannia Ferries problem, is don't accept their offer. Look into the Small Claims Court, try the FCA, and, especially, take to social media and shame Britannia Ferries. mention them by name, tell everyone they have turned you down for your Quidco cashback. You may be surprised. If not, get in touch with your MP, Citizens Advice, post on every website you can find, and if you have time go and stand outside Britannia Ferries office and/or Quidco offices and hand out leaflets. Believe me, I would.
The Quidco system is obviously flawed. 131 pages proves that. Remember, you, well most of us, are paying Quidco for their services. It isn't something for free. I must have recommended Quidco to over 100 people when they were starting out, I wish I hadn't.0 -
@syco1
I'm really sorry to hear that you have experienced these issues using Quidco. Please do get in touch with our customer service team regarding any issues that do arise, as we will always do our best to get them resolved for you. You can do this in a number of ways through the Support menu on your Quidco homepage.
Please be assured that we would never delete accounts because the users had raised a complaint or queried something with us.
We are happy to publish negative reviews, although we always like to see if we can resolve the issues before we do so. We are unable to publish anything that is unfair or defamatory (e.g saying cashback was declined with no reason) to our retailers however, as we have a responsibility to the retailers we have on our site as well as our members.
We do have a free to use Quidco account, and members are under no obligation to become a Premium member. You can compare the different accounts through this link: http://www.quidco.com/basic-vs-premium/. The Premium account does only cost £5 a year from your confirmed cashback, but if you wanted to downgrade to the free account, then just get in touch with customer services, and we would be happy to look into that for you.
We don't like to see people having problems getting their cashback through us, and we will always do all we can to go back to the retailer and try and get this confirmed where possible. Cashback issues don't benefit us or our members, so we will always do our best to resolve them for you, if you contact us regarding them.

Hi quidco Company Representative,
I'm not sure if you answer my question but thought i'd stop by here first - it is in regards to Cashback on car insurance policies.
I am currently with Aviva for my car insurance. My policy is up for renewal in June and I have had my renewal quote through from them.
I notice that they have a Cashback offer of £70 for new customers at the moment when signing up through Quidco.
Please can you advise if I cancel the automatic renewal with Aviva and then sign up again for a new policy on their website, if I am therefore classed as a new customer and be eligible for the cash back amount?
Thanks0 -

Hi@Miss.Fortune,
I am afraid you do have to be a completely new customer to be eligible for cashback with insurance retailer's who have this term and condition.
A new customer is a customer who has not had a policy with the insurer for at least a twelve month period.
As you currently have a policy with the insurance provider, even if you cancel the renewal and take out a new policy via Quidco, I am afraid you would not be considered a new customer and would therefore, not be eligible for cashback.
I am very sorry for any disappointment this may cause you.
Kind regards,
