I'm dissatisfied with Quidco too, the devious, conning bar stewards. How dare they change the ts and cs of their Xmas promotion to impose a minimum spend requirement after people have started shopping. I'm going to cancel all the purchases I've done today0
-
Been using Quidco for years, but this is ridiculous. A minimum spend requirement inserted in to clause 13 of the t&c's with no specific reference to it on the offer ad, and to cap it all I've just been told that only one of multiple purchases I have with a qualifying retailler will count towards the minimum spend despite the fact that their own t&c's state that, "The bonus will become payable after purchases are made at the required number of participating retailers and the user's total spend at bonus retailers is twice that bonus amount."
Not only are they changing the t&c's of the offer, they aren't even willing to honour them. For shame, Quidco.0 -

Hi @ex-homelessdude2,
Unfortunately we have had to enforce a minimum spend on the bonus and it is as follows:
"For the avoidance of doubt to unlock a £6 bonus a user must spend at least £12 at the 6 participating retailers used to unlock the tier 1 bonus of £6, £50 at the 9 retailers used to unlock the tier 2 bonus of £25 and £100 at the 12 retailers used to unlock the tier 3 bonus of £50."
This means that in order to earn the full £50 bonus you must have spent £100 in total.
I do hope that this helps but if you have any more questions please do contact the Quidco customer support team who will be happy to help you further.
Kind Regards,

Also, what's with the Cafe Nero confirmations? Two transactions and deadline for cashback has passed.
Then when you try and chase it up for some reason the drop-down menu on the Contact Form doesn't mention those two retailers. Also, when the you enter the sum paid it says 'this is not a valid sum'.
By the way, when you do try to chase it up, the warning in red tells you that some retailers are not adhering to their times. Well thanks for telling us now!
Please sort it out Quidco. or I'll lose my confidence in your service.
Hi @legalfreak22,
I do apologise about this, our estimated payment speeds are currently incorrect but we are working on fixing this at the moment and will have them updated soon.
The claims process for in-store purchases is different to online, which is why the online claims form is not working for these retailers.
Could I ask you to please contact the customer support team with these queries? You can do so by going to the "support" tab on the right hand corner of your account and then selecting "contact form".
One of our team will then be able to have a look into your account for you and help you further with these.

Hi @m1kjm,
I'm really sorry for any disappointment this may have caused.
Unfortunately we have had to introduce a minimum spend due to a small minority of members trying to exploit the promotion, rather than in the spirit it was intended. We do understand that the majority of members are making genuine purchases and I do hope you can appreciate why we have had to bring in these protective measures.
Without it, we may have had to end the promotion early which means everyone would miss out, a situation that we would not want for any of our members. It is just a case of the small minority spoiling it for the rest, I'm afraid.
I do hope that this issue doesn't cause too much disappointment, and that you are still able to take advantage of the Christmas bonus.
Kind regards,

Strange, thats word for word for the fob off being issued in customer support as well.
Do you mean 'not in the spirit it was intended' like quidco taking referral fees and returning them to customers wasn't in the spirit the referral fees were intended?
Quidco was built on the backs of people who were prepared to go the extra mile for ridiculous deals, like being paid to take out a mobile phone contract.
You screwed up by not inserting a minimum spend, and you screwed up by not advertising the addition of a minimum spend, and you are still flagrantly misinterpreting your own terms and conditions by refusing to count total spend at participating retailers. Stop blaming your customers for your screw ups, particularly if you expect them to trust you in the future.0 -
I'm jumping on the 'fed up with quidco' wagon too I had made some purchases for the xmas bonus as well but hadn't seen any mention at the beginning for minimum spend. Even more annoying is they STILL haven't paid me and in an update on their site they State that payments would be going out tonight - still no update on my account and still no payment made! It's a shame really as quidco has always been my fave cashback site but think I'll stick with the others - less hassleWinging life....0

I got a reply back that my payment would be made on the next payment run which is the 13th, when I requested my payment on the 3rd - so much for 5 working days from request. Joke.Winging life....0

Hi @Bobbish,
I do apologise for any confusion caused with this term.
I can assure you that even though only one of your purchases with an eligible retailer will count towards unlocking the required number of purchases, the overall spend with a retailer in a number of purchases will count towards your minimum spend.
We were forced to add the term into the conditions of the offer to counter those who were not playing within the spirit of the game - we have no intention of penalising those who are enjoying gaining extra cashback on their Christmas shopping.
Therefore if you made, for example three purchases with a participating retailer, the total spend will be taken into account for your bonus.
I do hope that this reassures you and of course if you do have any more questions about the bonus and your purchases in particular please do get in touch with our customer service team, who will be happy to advise further.

Hi @KatieShopstoomuch,
I do apologise about this, could I ask you to please contact our customer support team? You can do so by going to the "support" tab on the top right hand corner of your Quidco account and then selecting "contact form".
The payment run was re-generated on Friday the 7th November and this should be reflected in your account. As it isn't our customer support team will be more than happy to look into this for you and resolve the issue.
