Rosie, thanks for the time you took to respond to my elongated rant ;)

You've answered most of my concerns, although I'd still like to see more transparency around declined transactions. The general trend seems to be that a definitive reason is not given (e.g "this transaction commission was claimed by site XXX", or "no referrer was linked to this transaction").
    Thanks in advance,

    Steve V

    Hello,

I booked a Walt Disney holiday through quidco and estimated payout date was 13 Oct 2014, but 'Payment Delay' is now showing next to this transaction.

When should I expect the Cashback?

    Hi GreatheadShield

I'm sorry for the confusion this has caused.

Most holiday retailers will confirm cashback, 8-12 weeks from the check out date.

If your cashback becomes delayed, do let us know and the Support Team will be happy to look into this further for you.

    Kind Regards

    Hi Batvink

    Thank you for your response.

When cashback has been paid to another referrer, we certainly wish to provide our members with as much information as to why we haven't been able to pass on the cashback to you.

Unfortunately, the retailer is not obliged to tell us where they have paid their referral commissions to, so we are unable to find out exactly where they have paid it to.

As always, we will do what we can to help our members further, if cashback has been declined.

    Kind Regards

I bought home insurance with Allianze and it took ages to track and had to put in a claim which I was told yesterday was rejected as Allianze wont pay Quidco and they cant pay me.
I remember there being a problem with paying by card and it says payed but never got an email confirming this for about 7 hours. Went to check online policy and the website was playing up and I got a call from them asking why I was trying to look at my policy and not passing security checks. The CS rep sayed a lot of people had been having problems with the site and I asked if her calling me would effect my cashback and was told no.
My work mate bought insurance through them by Quidco the same week and he had the same as me and his was also rejected so I think these companies that go through cashback sites contact the customers so it invalidates the T&C's and then they don't have to pay out.

I took EE Broadband on the back of the Quidco £130 offer, on 4th July.

The cashback didn't show up, and I tried to make a claim but the Quidco site wouldn't let me raise the claim and told me I had to wait 90 days.

So I waited until I was sure the 90 days were up (4th October) and I've just (25th October) gone on to Quidco now to make the claim and it now tells me "Sorry, cashback queries for this merchant needed to be submitted within 13 weeks.".

That was not stated when I tried to claim inside the 90 days and was told I had to wait.

But the 13 weeks expired exactly on the day that 90 days had completed (4th October), making it impossible to both wait 90 days and claim within 13 weeks!

This appears to be nothing more than a shabby sleight of hand, contrived to trick people out of getting their cashback.
  • So you get 5% cashback added when paying via PayPal on certain retailers if your PayPal account is linked.

I did this with Monarch, and it didn't track. I submitted a claim and my claim is for the 0.6% cashback Monarch offer rather than the 5.6% cashback I was entitled to. So now I'm effectively making a claim for less than a quid when the claim should be worth about £10. It will probably cost the retailers more than a quid in time lost to look into my claim!

So it seems if you use PayPal for the extra 5% and it doesn't track you can't get that 5% through a claim.

Quidco clicksnap for the "Free" cider is going through at £1 cashback instead of the £2 actual cost.

    Hi Boohoo,

I am sorry that your cashback has been declined.

Unfortunately for most retailers if you contact them directly it can result in them taking over the sale, which means that we aren't then paid the referral fee and so can't pass this on to you as cashback.

I do assure you that we monitor all of our retailers closely, and if a retailer was declining a high volume of purchases we would investigate this immediately.

If you would like to discuss this further with us please do contact our customer service team, who would be happy to answer any questions you may have about this.

You can contact them by going to the "Support" tab on the right hand side of your Quidco account and then select "Contact Form". One of our team will then be in touch within the next 24 hours.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi prowla,

I do apologise about this, we have been having problems with our claims process.

Please do be assured that you have 20 weeks to make a claim with EE Home Broadband, and if you would like to contact our customer support team they will be happy to raise a claim on your behalf.

You can do this by going to the "Support" tab on the right hand side of your Quidco account, and the selecting "Contact Form". Once of our team will then be in touch within 24 hours.

We will then be able to raise a claim and get this tracking manually for you.

    Hi SephirothXI,

Unfortunately you cannot currently raise a claim for the missing PayPal cashback, however this should track into your account automatically within 7 days of the original cashback claim being raised.

If this has not happened could I ask you to please contact our customer support team? We can then get this added into your account manually for you.

You can contact the team by going to the "Support" tab on the right hand side of your account, and then selecting "Contact Form". One of our team will then be in touch within 24 hours.
