I have now just received a notification from Quidco to say that the cashback has been declined! Very frustrating and pretty poor service. Why do Quidco deal with companies that they are unable to get feedback from when things go wrong? It seems like Direct Line just use the cashback offer to lure people into buying a policy.

We can investigate declined cashback from this retailer and if you could contact our support team we will be happy to raise a claim for you.

We can then go back to the retailer and at the very least find out why this has been declined.

Urgent! Talk Talk's offers end Sunday 17th, and there's also a nice voucher offer on their site which appears to need no code. So I assume we can enjoy both that and the cashback?

Update: Cashback rate now extended to Sun 24th, but voucher reward ends sooner.

Update 2: We just tried clicking through, and the voucher offer does not appear. Clever. I guess it's choose one or the other then.

When using a voucher code or discount not listed on Quidco in conjunction with cashback it will often lead to the cashback not tracking or being declined.

This is listed in the terms and conditions of each retailer:

Members should only use voucher codes listed on Quidco. If you use voucher codes or gift vouchers that are not listed on Quidco your cashback may not track or be declined.

I know you can obtain cashback manually for a member when a product arrives faulty and is replaced, thus changing the order number.

I trust you can similarly intervene on a 'Reserve & Collect' issue. When a item is reserved online, your visit via Quidco is recorded, but when you want to collect, you're told the item can't be found.

So they let you have the identical ex-display model, but under a different reservation number. So nothing tracks.

As the customer has completed the transaction as planned, I assume you can request the merchant to fulfill the modest cashback offered?

When an order is returned, cancelled or amended it often leads to cashback not tracking or being declined as the order that is linked to Quidco is stopped and a new order created.

If you could contact our support team with the retailer and transaction date we can investigate this case for you.

I booked a hotel through Quidco which hasn't tracked. Would the fact that I made the reservation in my husband's name rather than mine affect the tracking?

Purchases can take up to 24 hours to track, if this does not please do raise a missing cashback claim for this purchase. This can be accessed through your Support tab, top right of Quidco.
