    Hi QuidCoRep.

Can you advise how/where to resolve a small issue.

It's with regards to an introductory "first purchase" bonus payment
Initially offered at £2.50 but then increased to £5

    Claim your £5 bonus
We've extended your bonus for another week and doubled it! The rules are the same - simply purchase at any retailer before midnight .......

A purchase was made before it expired at Amazon via your site referral link but the bonus payment from Quidco has never appeared.

The Amazon purchase itself might not have generated any cashback (from Amazon) due to the item possibly not being in a product category that qualified for a cashback payment at that time. (It would have done a week or so before and a few days later)

Having said that the "terms" for receiving the bonus were "Simply make a purchase with any retailer" which is what happened.
No mention of it having to actually generate a cashback payment!

So what is your advice please, only the claim is technically being raised against a non-payment from Quidco and not an error/failure on Amazon's part ?

    Thanks Q

I downgraded to free Quidco membership before the first tracked transaction following account anniversary, why has it now been stated by email that 50p has been retained out of a 5.00 payment

    Payment amount £5.00
(It's been paid into your nominated bank or PayPal account, please allow three
working days for it to clear)
We've held back £0.50 from this payment as the Quidco retention fee

Quidco Account ID is same as this MSE ID

5.00 paid by BACS - showing in account

    I fancy a moan.

Cleared cookies and used a different web browser to book a holiday with Thomas Cook. Entered via the Quidco link, think I got the "Your purchase has been logged" message, at the end, but can't remember.

Transaction didn't track and got a "You didn't complete your purchase" email from Quidco a few days later.

Logged a ticket a few days later and after three months I've had a decline.

I don't think there's much Quidco can do about it, but I'd love to know who that £102 was paid to.

Still, Thomas Cook has lost a customer. I'll go elsewhere in future. Going to email them to tell them that too.

    Hi Kingstreet,

I am really sorry to hear your purchase has been declined, it sounds like you did all the right things! I can advise you to send us in a support message and we can see what we can do for you.

    Hi jasonwatkins,
It can take up to three days for this to track into your account, if you find it doesn't, we will need you to raise a claim to get that tracking in manually. You can do that by going to the support tab and clicking create cashback claim.

    Hi Bristolleedsfan,
This does sound like a bit of an error on our side, if the purchase was tracked when you were a basic member you should certainly not be subject to the retention fee. Can you send us in a support message for our team to have a look into.

    Thanks everyone!

    Thank you.

I sent a message back and also did a webform complaint to TC. Doubtless they'll reply with some platitude, or other.

However, I can report an excellent result. Quidco has responded to my message and confirmed it is going to pay the cashback in question, as a gesture of goodwill.

As I never held Quidco responsible, it is a great gesture on their part and I am very pleased.

Thank you, Emma for your help.
