I have TCB and recently signed up to a free account on Quidco.
It's really nice having two cash back memberships because you can shop around for the best rate, and some have exclusive retailers. Also handy for the grocery cash back which IMO is much better on Quidco now than TCB.

    Hi Kxmx,

I'm pleased to hear you're enjoying the clicksnap feature on Quidco. We've got a double cashback offer running until the 13th October on clicksnap purchases. This could be something you'd be interested in!

    Thanks,

    Emma :)

Hilton are an absolute joke pulling a fast one on the advertised deal of 12% on all The Great Getaway rooms over the summer. I booked 12 nights with the code and had my cashback declined citing that I did not use the correct code, but yet I used the link on Quidco and copied and pasted the stated the code. Furthermore my email confirmation even states Rate - The Great Getaway, how did I get the rate if I did not use the code.

Quidco will not persue Hilton any longer as the decision is final they say. What a joke.

    Sorry, it's sorted now.
  • Hi all

First of all, please forgive me and redirect me if this is in the wrong place!

I am about to start the yearly search for car insurance (yawn) and just wanted to clarify how this works with regards to the cashback sites Quidco and Topcashback....

Obviously, I need to follow the link from the cashback site to the insurer's site for my quote but then if I don't accept the quote immediately, can I go back to the site at a later date and accept the quote and get the cashback? I need to try quite a few links to quite a few insurer's sites to see what their prices aren and work out which is my best deal but the terms that I have read from some insurers seem to indicate that the cashback claim will only be successful if you accept the price straight away???!!! I am a bit confused and don't want to go about it the wrong way and lose out on cashback.... Also - how does it work with the comparison sites?

Anyone's help will be much appreciated - hate this annual job but some nice cashback would make it a wee bit more bearable!!! :rotfl:

    Hi @lizziedrippin,

Thanks for your query. Most retailers will allow you to return within a set number of days to use the quote, but my advice for the best tracking would be to generate a new quote when you've decided which retailer to go with. Alternatively, you could use the Quidco Compare tool to help you make a decision.

If you do decide to reuse a quote, then please check the retailers terms & conditions to see the amount of days that you can wait.

    Many thanks,

    Leanne :)

  • Question for the Quidco rep please.

I attempted to log on to my account in the last week or so and received a message that it had been blocked and that I should contact support. Which I did.

I received an email back starting with,

"Our system has identified your account in our weekly compliance checks."

And going on to ask that I send details of two recent purchases I made through Quidco, including "Order confirmations" and "Payment Confirmation such as a Bank statement".

    I'm relatively new to Quidco,
    • Is this normal / legit?
    • Will it happen everytime I buy through Quidco?
    • Why has my account been flagged in this way?
    Many thanks

    Ross

    Hi caffinebassman,

Unfortunately, I don't have the access to that information on your account so I wouldn't be unable to advise you on why it has been flagged up in our weekly compliance checks. Please don't worry though, if you can get back to the compliance team they can talk you through the process. Do be assured this will not happen each time you purchase through Quidco, we'll put a note on your account so that it doesn't happen again. It's quite normal, for example with business purchases when people are making frequent flights and hotel transactions.

I hope this has helped reassured you a little, our compliance team can give you a much better idea of why this may have happened on your account.

    Thanks,

    Emma :)
