Hi thanks for your response, unfortunately this still doesn't help me get my cash. Please could you advise who it has been paid to instead? Also I would be grateful if you could give me a contact name & number for Dell as I will speak to them myself about this. Many thanks0

@Monkey82 – I’m very sorry to hear that. Have you raised a support ticket for this at all? If not, can you please raise a claim via this link.
Yes, 3 months ago. In fact, just had an update to say you're still working on it. Not sure that it can actually require this much work.
I'm more interested in why no-one gets paid out by this company and why Quidco still offers cashback from them. Do you look at the history of failed cashback claims?
Anyway, I'm currently making my first claim through TCB and if that clears OK, I'll be moving permanently. Sorry Quidco, but you aren't what you used to be.0 -
I bought a laptop on eBay Electronics on 17th Oct.
All fine, got the laptop OK and payment went through via Pay Pal.
It cost £999 + postage, and Quidco cashback was tracked at £20.10.
Then I got a notification from ebay that the seller was cancelling the transaction (no reason given), and the seller also sent me a message saying that if I accepted the cancellation they would give me £15 back - they explained that by cancelling the transaction they would not have to pay the eBay seller's fee, which I worked out would be around £100. I thought this was a bit dodgy, and in any case their offer was less than what I was getting from Quidco.
I actually misread the eBay message, and did nothing - I think I should have declined the cancellation, but I the seller said in his message that if I did nothing he would not invoke the cancellation. Anyway, I ended up doing nothing and the cancellation case was closed by the seller.
Today I have checked my Quidco activity and the transaction now has a status of "declined".
I've raised a cashback claim on the Quidco site, but the form does not allow me to explain the above circumstances.
What do you think the chances of getting this cashback are?
Zilch - sale was canceled and cashback rightly declined.
Ebay did not get their fees - how can you get cashback on fees they didn't get?
Have you reported the dodgey seller to Ebay?0 -
I raised a claim when I upgraded my Sky package on 20th Sept and raised another regarding a stay I booked with laterooms.com on 1st Oct....how do I find out how these claims are progressing ?0

Rosie,
Please help. Purchased AA breakdown cover in May 2012, tracked on 27May 2012 at £50.00 correct amount, then nothing... Raised a message through support over 4 weeks ago, got the standard "quidco admin are on the case". But still no movement from tracked. According to reviews, 11months seems to be the average length of time the AA take to pay out. I was somewhat amused/bewildered that this retailer is now a faster payer?
Can you help progress the AA, or at least ask admin to update me?
i have over £120 tracked, but am rapidly losing all faith in quidco.

Sorry, as I understand it ebay did get their fees, since the transaction cancellation was never actioned, just requested. The sale went through and all amounts were paid via PayPal.Have you reported the dodgey seller to Ebay?

@rummy – Please don’t worry, non-tracking certainly doesn’t mean that you won’t get paid for something. I’ve had to raise a few claims in the past (and I work here!) but they have always been successful. As long as you’ve met all of the conditions for cashback, there shouldn’t be any reason it won’t be paid.
Hi Rosie,
Thanks for your response. I am afraid that this isn't good enough. After a quick google search, I came across another thread here on MSE of a customer who went via Quidco and his/her order did not track on Quidco. He went on good faith that it wouldn't need to track (going by what you stated above) however when he put through a claim, this was delcined by Quidco and he was locked into a contract at full price and your system makes it hard to even contact or dispute it. He fulfilled all the terms and conditions and of course cannot contact Vodafone to ask why they declined it since it's in the T&C that they won't deal with this.
Seeing as it was the same one I was trying to claim i.e. via Vodafone, I am not willing to go through anything not tracked. Especially given that the sell-off point on Quidco was that the deal would mean effectively that the line rental would equate to £10.50. It is solely the only reason I wanted it.
Of course you state you work there so whilst I appreciate you've had to raise claims, you have the advantage of working there. I don't want to be locked into a 12 month contract at that price as I simply cannot afford it.
In the past I went for one of Quidco's experian offers that didn't track and ended up paying them £6.99 until my credit card expired and they weren't able to debit it anymore. I never got the money back for Quidco through that but as it was a small amount it wasn't a huge thing so I overlooked it. At £20.50 a month for 12 month, we are talking on a different level and one I'm not willing to overlook unfortunately.
I'm now lumbered with credit checks on my file making it hard to get any other contracts and also cancelling my Vodafone order is also proving to be immensely difficult even though it hasn't even started yet. Seriously disappointed both at Qudico and Vodafone.
Wish I had googled the other MSE users thread before putting that order through.0 -
In an attempt to cut down on unsolicited marketing (a.k.a 'spam') and to improve the security of other accounts, I requested disclosure of all data held by Quidco and subsequent closure of the account.
The data would include personally identifiable items including my and my family's personal details such as name, address and contact telephone number, date of birth, sex, e-mail addresses, merchant accounts including eBay, bank card and bank account details.
Quidco's response?
They have directed me to sign in to my account to see their reply, but have blocked access to my account!!- Does this mean that Quidco is refusing to disclose sensitive data held to its own customers?
- Does Quidco expect perpetual rights to continue to track Instore Purchases on Quidco registered cards? And to keep the cashback earnings for themselves?
- Does Quidco expect perpetual rights to use our data for marketing purposes with no right of withdrawal?

You asked for the account closing. Should have done that AFTER reading the replies :rotfl::rotfl:0
