just wondering if anyone can help (I have looked back through LOTS of posts and search to see if I could find out first, as well as looking at the quidco site)

I recently got an email saying that if I earn £50, £100 the money will be double in January, (or something like that) but I cant find the message, so just wondering if anyone can give me the info, I noticed another post on here saying that you have to opt in for it, but cant find the email for 'opt in' details

    Hi Rosie,

I purchased a contract phone with Phones4u on the basis that i would get £65 cashback. The Order tracked through Quidco, but for whatever reason, i have had to wait around 10 weeks to be told: "Response from Merchant. Enquiry Unsuccessful - Transaction cannot be traced"

I have since tried to create a cashback claim, yet i am told: "As this transaction has been generated by an cashback claim, we are unable to open a further cashback claim on it. If there is an error or you have a question regarding this transaction, please contact us."

So now what do i do? I've took out a £42pcm contract with so called "fast payer" Phones4u. The £65 was a deal breaker, i could have got a better deal elsewhere. To be honest, the entire process feels needlessly laborious (though i suspect that this is in place to frustrate the customer in the hope that they just go away). I feel let down by both Quidco and Phones4u. It's too easy to say "it didn't happen" wait 3 months and we'll give the same response and so on...

So it's tracked. I've got a contract, order numbers and anything else you might require. What do i do? Do i need to contact Phones4u directly?

EDIT: Contacted the live support team at Phones4u. Not very helpful and would only insist that i spoke to Quidco about this matter. They recognised that i'd took out a phone contract though. Sort of implies that either Quidco or Phones4u aren't being entirely truthful here.

    Thanks
  • I too am having issues with Quidco regarding this, I received the email saying "we miss you and if you make a purchase within a certain time we will pay your outstanding cashback before November 23rd". That date has been and gone and still no cashback. I had been using Topcashback for all my transactions for the past year and have only just tried Quidco again - now I remember why I moved away.

I cannot even contact Quidco, just get the auto responses, no way of actually contacting you.

I would be grateful if the Quidco Rep could look into this for me, my username is the same as my name on here without the numbers on the end.

    Many Thanks

    xxx

Just an update, I noticed when logging onto Quidco to today they had started a live chat function. I chatted to an advisor who was very vague and was aware of many who were not paid their cashback by 23rd November as promised in their "We miss you" email and said they are looking into it and will get back to me on Friday.

I wait with baited breath, their support is leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I have spent a lot of time chasing this.

    Good afternoon,

I hope you are all well!

@ohmeohmy & @ladymarmalade222 –I’m sorry to hear this. We are aware of some issues with bonus payments at the moment, can I please ask you to raise this via our help form, as I’m currently looking into all of these this week and will be getting them resolved very soon.

@bcgraeme – Hopefully all will be fine with it. If anything goes wrong, do come back to me as we may be able to challenge this with the retailer, given that you’ve had the issue before. We do monitor all decline rates of retailers to see if anything funny is going on, but we’re not aware of any issues with BuyMobilePhones at the moment.

@mum26 – Sure, can you please raise a support ticket via this link?

@df03 – Can you please confirm your Quidco UserID for me, as we should be able to resend this. If you don’t want to provide it on here, can you please send this to members@quidco.com, FAO Rosie MSE.

@wolflikeme – Don’t worry, we can always investigate instances like this further. Instead of raising a cashback claim, can you please raise this with us via a support ticket? Our Administration Team will be able to take a closer look into this for you.

    Many thanks,

    Rosie

i went through quidco to get a quote on my car insurance and they emailed me the quote. I went through the email and looked for the ' pay now'. I looked for quite quite a while. In the end I phoned the tel no on the page and said I wanted to accept the quote. I paid and got my policy posted out. I have raised a query on the support at quidco, but no-one seems to be able to tell me if I will get cashback. I phoned aviva and they said the they take 4 months so people do not stop the policy, but it would be nice to get an update as to recog nising the claim and why the email of the quote, folloewd through has no 'pay now' bit. Quidco shows me getting 3 quotes.

im having trouble with hastings direct cash back , i set up 2 car policies one in March the cash back should have been £50 the my oh's policy in may that should have been £41 cashback, after a bit of troubl the march one has finally been paid but at £41 but theres no sign of the other money, ive contacted hastings who say they are looking into it but to be honest im more inclined now to use topcashback especially as i believe they will match quidco amounts and they certainly pay out a lot quicker.
