Hi, hopefully someone can help me.

I purchased a sim only contract from Vodafone using a link from Quidco's website.

I received a tracking confirmation email from Quidco but then the cashback was decline. I tried contacting the quidco support but they just told me that they had spoken to Vodafone and that unfortunately they will not be paying me the cashback.

No one has given me a satisfactory answer as to what has happened and why I can't have my cash back.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Joel

I'm afraid that's the joy of Quidco.

They did the same to me with an Orange contract. Asked for months for an answer but all they would say was that Orange couldn't trace the contract, which is strange as they managed to take money by direct debit for it ok!

Good Morning!

@johannalf88 - Purchases should normally show in your account within 3 days of you making the transaction. You will need to raise a cashabck claim so that we can get this tracking manually for you on the following link. You should be able to find the reference number on your confirmation email or by contacting the retailer as they should be able to help but please let us know if you need any further help!

@philgee - Thanks for getting back to us, I will make sure this is added to your account! Please could you just confirm your user ID so we can do that for you? You can let us know via sending an email to members@quidco.com if you would prefer not to post it on here.

@tireddad - Don't worry at the moment as it can take up to 3 days for this to show in your account. If this doesn't track for whatever reason please just raise a cashback claim on the following link as soon as possible. You should be able to find your reference number on the confirmation email - however I will double check the format of this reference for you.

@mydefinition - Thanks for getting back to me. I'm sorry to hear that. We will respond to your complaint regarding the Gala purchase soon and hopefully get a positive resolution for you.

@jtr2803 - It sounds like this purchase is slightly delayed, so we will need to look in to this for you! Please could I ask you to raise a ticket on the following link so we can speed up the payment process. Unfortunately, faster paying was only introduced in August so only applies to purchases made after that date but we will escalate this for you to get it paid as soon as possible to you.

@spidersandsprinkles - Sorry to hear that! We will need to take a closer look at your account to help you further with this. Please could I ask you to raise a ticket on the following link to enable us to do so.

@debjay - Hi again, as far as I am aware you should be able to make this purchase on your iPad/iPhone - please could you confirm the error you receive when trying to make a purchase?

@littlewren - I'm sorry to hear that your purchase has been declined. Don't worry as you should be able to raise a claim up to 7 weeks after the date that this was declined on the following link. We will then hopefully be able to give you further information on the decline reason and get this resolved for you.

@dhonline - Hi, welcome to Quidco :). It sounds like this hasn't tracked correctly for some reason, which is very unfortunate as it is your first purchase! Normally, you would need to raise a claim up to 7 weeks after the purchase date. However, we will need to look into this for you, so please could I ask you to raise a ticket on the following link so we can help you further.

@SpiderMonkey - Unfortunately once we have sent your claim back, the decision regarding your cashback claim is out of our hands. The retailer will always make the final decision about whether to approve your cashback and I can only apologise that it seems we cannot help you further.

@Bayblue - Have you tried lowering your security settings as well as uninstalling any security software you have running? It could be that preventing the tracking of your purchases. If that doesn't work, please try using a different browser to see if that makes a difference.

@Joelc - Hi, sorry to hear that your cashback has been declined on this occasion. Have you raised a cashback claim already so that we can look into this for you?

Many Thanks,

Rosie

• Hi Quidco I have quite a few Fly.com transactions sitting as tracked. I know I can't raise a cashback claim for this. The earliest transaction goes back to March, 2012. As they are small amounts and are no cost to me they can help towards my Annual fee.
Thanks.

Hi Rosie,

Firstly, thankyou for your reply regarding my cashback with Check my File. I have raised a claim, but where it said 'Customer Number' I no longer have any e-mails from the, so didn't have a number to put in, I had to enter '00000.' Will there be a problem with this?

I have another query, if you don't mind helping me with it, on behalf of my daughter. She has had cashback paid into her account today, but although you kept back a Quidco retention fee, the fee is £16. Her tracked purchases go back to 2007, is this why? It's just a funny amount, as Quidco take fees in blocks of £5, don't they?

I look forward to hearing from you, many thanks. :)
Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!
• Hi Rosie,

Thanks for replying.

Yes I have raised a cashback enquiry, they asked me to provide proof of purchase and tracking which I did, then the Quidco advisor said he would speak to Vodafone and it could take a few weeks. He then got back to me the next day and said the cashback was declined and the case was closed.

He gave no explanation of why and I have followed all the requirements, I just want the £120 cashback that was advertised.

I would be grateful if you could provide some help or answers.

Thanks in advance.

Thought i would update you all and publicly say that i understand now why there are so many complaints about quidco and why i dont plan on using them again.

I thought that finally my complaint would be heard on here as i had heard of another's success. Unfortunately i have received correspondence from Rosie herself who is now also saying i did not deposit and wager £10 in the Gala account. Having provided them with undeniable proof several times from Gala themselves (which members of staff at Quidco have accepted themselves as being valid) i have heard again that my claim is being denied.

Why? They cant tell me because I can guarantee (and prove) that £10 left my account and went into Gala and the balance is now £0.00 so what other option is there possibly?

I am shocked that even in the face of my evidence that i was told to read the terms and conditions more carefully in future. I would suggest that they read their own in future and dont treat customers so poorly.

I'm planning on using Top Cashback from now on and any other competitors which pay more anyway. Thanks for reading

P.S the message i was sent was dated the 25th but ive just seen that Rosie was still hoping for a positive resolution yesterday. Thats strange as she should have realised she'd already said no.

After finding that my purchases were not tracking using Google Chrome I did a sort of test purchase using Internet Explorer and indeed it did track. Obviously using Chrome was/is the problem. Bit annoying because I like Chrome and it means remembering to switch browsers if I want to use Quidco.

Also, I 'lost' about £25 worth of cashback before I discovered it wasn't tracking, but there's not much I can do about that- just one of those (annoying) Internet things...

Thanks Rosie, for the tip about changing browsers.

Total quidco newbie here and I have contacted their support, but...

I'm on Orange for mobile, and moving to a new place. Yesterday an offer was on their site with "3 days to go" for £100 cashback on Orange home phone and broadband, with half price on the broadband for mobile customers.

I rang the relevant number but was told they had closed for the weekend. Today I pressed refresh and the offer has gone down to £70. The £100 is listed in "expired offers" with an expiry date of 3rd October - which... is in the future, right?

Is this normal, and is there anything I can do to resolve it? The offer page seems to be on a redirect, and I've tried clearing cookies.
Hurrah, now I have more thankings than postings, cheers everyone!

Oh, topcashback have £100 still. Allegedly. If my tradesman comes round before their phone lines shut and I don't get into the same stupid cycle again tomorrow!

Well, interested in principle. Is "Make sure you claim straight away" a golden rule, I guess?

• I am extremely disappointed with Quidco. TCB are swift and professional in comparison. My husband has been waiting for months, the only time he has been paid is when he contacted Quidco to chase, miraculously a payment was posted to be sent the following day.

Very frustrated customers.
