Sky Price Changes
I think its mainly down to what customer service person you end up talking too, Becaus I phoned sky for a quote they quoted me £62 for internet phone-line and full TV packege but I didnt have my card to pay at that moment, two days later my boyfriend phoned up to pay and asked for the exact same package word for word and they quoted £73. Couls someone please tell me how in the space of 48 hours the price can increase by almost 15%. Silly silly joke of a company0 -

Only slightly off topic0 -
I'm switching off the boiler for good and buying thick blankets. I'll use electricity to heat as and when necessary. With servicing, gas can now work out as more expensive. We managed to reduce our gas usage last year so know we can now do without. I'm serious here!0

anyone please?
I thought about the platinum deal, but ended up going with the capped 2013 deal. For me the different was about £120 per year - not far off the cost of the boiler cover.
Living in an old house with a new boiler but very old rads, I'd rather have something that covered more than the boiler0 -

And how do you think the majority of your electricity is generated? It's from gas fired power stations, so leccy prices will always track gas.
The only way you'll save money without gas is to use less energy overall. Electricity is still about 3 times as expensive as gas.
A boiler service should add no more than £75 pa to your bills-say £6pm.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

Thanks for that.I was interested to see just what discount they were now offering. It is exactly what they quoted,a massive 2%.
BIG DEAL
However i still can't fathom out how they say gas is going up 20% and it works out nearly 50% yet the drop in discount is probably only about 4% if that.
Do they really think we are all stupid ?0 -
Truecall rejects the call
I have those two numbers blocked
Whisper asks the caller to say their name, then gives you the opportunity to accept the call, send the caller to answering machine or Zap them. If you turn off Whisper you can still filter your calls using Shield.0 -
