Is something wrong with our house?

A big hug to both of you from me (Mrs
. If I were your baby I would be very happy living in your lovely home. If you are buying a more expensive house it is likely to be cheaper in the spring. Don't panic.

We're trying to sell our house at the moment and despite having had quite a few viewings we don't seem to have had any offers on it as yet....I'd welcome any constructive feedback, we have asked for advice on whether or not the house is priced correctly for the market and looking at the houses in the area it's seems to be pretty spot on, it's a pretty good price if anything:

Please feel free to take a nosy and let me know what you think, I don't seem to be able to get any constructive feedback from the agents/viewers about anything we could change so i'm at a loss...I'm having another baby in 3 months....there's a house we have our hearts set on...I WANT to move now!
love the house & decor
your bathroom is absolutely gorgeous and huge - defo a good selling point.
i agree with what others have said about coming in from front door straight into living room. but you can clearly see this on the website so you would know before you came i suppose.
or if its a case of getting viewers through the door you could change the pic and not show the front door?
looks like the estate agent was just too lazy to walk to the bottom of the garden to take the photo. it should be looking at the house & conserv
fingers crossed you get ur sale soon xx0 -
I think your main problem, as many people have said, is the area - being on a busy road and a perceived lack of parking. When the market is buoyant, people are less wary of these kinds of things, but I think in the current situation, people will tend to be put off more easily.
I think all you can do is wait it out until someone who isn't bothered by the drawbacks comes along, if you don't want to lower the price.
Is there really a rush to sell? I know you are having a baby, but can it not share your room for the first few months, and then share the other room with a sibling for a few years?0 -
I thinks its a really pretty house xx0

It is a nice house, but for that sort of money I would buy a bigger place in Slough or the surrounding area.0

I have just had a look. I have owned several period properties; firstly, the front windows don't seem to be in keeping with the house given the neighbouring properties, that would put me off. I agree with the comments about the fence in the garden needing to be sorted. Is there scope for a loft conversion in the future? The agent needs to be highlighting this if there is given the lack of a third bedroom. Also, what is the conservatory used for? It looks a bit like a non-room from the photo - you need to give it a *use* so people can see the benefit of it. A minor point, but I HATE satellite dishes on the front of properties, I would have got it sited on the chimney.0
