I feel a bit sick seeing the price ... round here they are NOT that expensive.

    Yet..... ;)

Nothings changed really, the new pics of the house are up, I even spent a whole weekend up ladders giving the conservatory a full repaint and spruce up to make it look extra lovely, I don't know what to do any more, I'm too pregnant to think about it any more, when I think about it get teary. I'm just so fed up of the whole thing. I don't know why no-ones buying it, you can't get a comparable house unless you go to dedworth for the same price. In the the 4 years we've been here we've had no parking issues at all, there's plenty of parking in the road to side of us and if people are really concerned then for a small annual amount there's an arrangement for secure parking the school car park which is virtually opposite the house. There's nothing more we can do, I'm tired of getting my hopes up and getting upset about it. If we dont get an offer in the next 2 weeks it's coming off the market, we're going to try and squeeze a third bedroom in ( there's a thread about it in the DIY forum). Keep your fingers crossed for the next 2weeks for me, I've lost faith a bit, everyone else I know who wants to move is managing to do it...it's just getting me down :(

    Sorry for the whinge....

HipnoNu, your house looks lovely! It's a victorian terrace, and that's what it is, you've done a very good job on it. I don't understand some posters criticise that the main door opens from the street, that's what the terraces look like.

The market is probably slow at the moment for those kind of properties - starter houses, I guess you just need to wait it out. I know it's frustrating, been there with my house and it took me ages to sell. My place as well is spotless, everything done up to a high standard and I could not believe it was not snapped up quickly. Plus being with a wrong agent at the time didn't help. :(

I'd advise you to take your place off the market for a bit and then re-market, maybe with a more proactive agent? Being off market for a while and not fretting whether you get viewings or not is probably best for you at the moment, I can imagine you are stressed.

It's not how many viewings you get, but the agent has to get the right people through the door - took only two viewings and three days for me to get an offer from a buyer (at the asking price) after putting the property back on the market. You just need to be patient. Good luck!

And btw I have a dog and no one knew when viewing until I told them!

Some people don't realise that Windsor is expensive, I compare it to Twickenham in London.

I agree that the EPC may be putting people off . It's very expensive to heat and its potential is no better . I would want this to be at least a D .
old enough for my bones to feel the cold .

I've never known anyone to actually read the EPC.

I'm selling and buying at present and I always read them. I've seen many G rated but with good potential . I like to be snug in winter but many of us are struggling with heating bills .

Actually it's baffling how a fully double glazed and gas heated house can have such a low epc rating AND sandwiched between two properties? Most comparable properties I've seen have better rating which makes me doubt that epc might be a bit iffy...

Oh, it's gorgeous! Mr B asked me why I was repeating the words "it's gorgeous"! In our part of the UK there are very few tasteful homes, so I really appreciated looking at your photos. We are looking for a house / flat to buy to let out, but Windsor is too far away from us, sorry.

i haven't read all the comments, but for me it's the double yellow lines outside and the pub close by, interior wise it's lovely, but there are no shots of the bathroom, is it an issue?
