Got a big decision to make tonight. DS1 has a chance to go to America Skiing & 1 day in New York. Haven't long to decide as there are limited places. My parents have offered to pay some of the cost.

    Evening all :)
Didn't get too much done last night - I had the most horrendous toothache I have ever had in my life last night - I would have rather have given birth to twins, it was excruciating! However am very pleased with what I achieved before work this morning :) I de-cluttered the metal cabinet (frog 1) and that has been taken, put armchair, single mattress and 32 inch old fashioned tv out for council to collect, sorted recycling and the usual getting myself and kids ready for school/college/work :j Have also de-cluttered one lot of orders tonight :)
Going to have a look at page 1 to see what tasks are for tonight, eat tea and then on I power march through my de-cluttering and cleaning :D
Hugs and love to all :)

    Hi everyone :hello:

I have finally found a flat...! And just like buses, another one came along in the same development I want - but £50 cheaper per month! Got really excited, booked a viewing and some toerag only went and paid the deposit, before I could even get near it! However, whats meant for you doesnt pass you by, so Im telling myself there is a reason I never got that one! :D

I think its definitely made my mind up that Im going to take the one Ive seen. Ive decided the bigger a house we have, the more crapola we find to fill it with! So Ive decided to downsize :D

My friend thinks though that I might regret moving to a smaller place - can anyone offer an opinion?

Its downsizing from a 3bed semi with front and back gardens (heavy maintenence) plus garage and driveway to a 2 bed flat, but its more modern, bigger kitchen ie it has a dishwasher and more than 3 cupboards! It also has a bathroom plus ensuite shower room (just now we have one bathroom and no WC). It has no gardens :j , (but there is a park literally right next door for LO to play in and Ive been round at night and no kids hang around there...!)

Has anyone else downsized with a family and regretted it?

Im having a right strange 5 mins! Have been busy flying, confused myself and updated the wrong list...

Am off to sort myself out and see where I am!! :rotfl:

Had a message from the consultant who wants to talk to me about my histology results tomorrow morning, so I'm now stressed. Unfortunately I was on a work call when he rang.

Chimney sweep is booked for Tuesday, and boiler service is already booked for the day after.

Electrician is coming round one day this week to finalise bathroom plans and book the work in. Bathroom people have list of changes and will email revised estimate which will make it easier to tweak. Hope to have it all done by the end of July.

Next door's teenager turned up late and managed 2.5 hours of work, so not doing well at paying off his debt, but the garden looks a bit tidied and I might be able to manage to do a bit of littering over the next few days.

Need to call tree surgeons and someone about painting the windows tomorrow and then I've made some major inroads into some of the frogs that have been around for ages.

Choosing tiles for the bathroom is going to take a long time though!

OH's DS was excluded from school this week, so that's creating huge dramas - chances of us seeing each other any time soon are minimal as a result.

ooo Cally I love a good graveyard too...

I know where there's a pirate's grave (well the headstone has a skull and crossbones on) and have you seen the grave of the unfortunately named person at Old Brampton?

We got George Stevenson's grave in Valliland, too.

Been out for tea with my ma and pa and the vallikids - carvery *nyom*. I had Eton Mess too *burps*

Fridge decluttered of chicken (into cats)

We're off to London for a couple of days on Thursday. DH won Peter Kay tickets for the Thurs night at the O2, so we thought we'd make it a short break. Going on the Highgate Cemetery tour on the Friday afternoon (I love a good graveyard!) and to see the James Corden play in the evening. I'm really looking forwards to the break.

    love to all...

We are seeing Peter Kay at the O2 tomorrow! :j:j
