I can't wait that long - the ceiling will cave in!!
I had a card through the door from a roofer, but I am always a little wary incase they are cowboys. They have an address on the card and a landline number aswell as a mobile.

Trikers did and mine wasn't far off either!!!! I had 1 say he would turn up never to be seen again!! It really annoys me.

Spare charger found.. :D I was looking at a replacement on ebeast and remembered I had one in the original box my phone came in so I went on a mission to find it!.. phone now charging and not boinging!!

Bank Frog now duly eaten. All my accounts now have their own labelled folders, and even colour-coded for the two banks I use!:T It was a right old mess, as I tended to just shove all bank paperwork in there, on the basis that it was filed in the bank file, so was correctly put away.

Loads of outdated leaflets/booklets weeded out, also - I mean, do I need a table of interest rates from 2005?? I think not!:D

I went back because I CBA to get a sick note (I thought I'd be back at work before I managed to get an appointment) but it turns out it would have been easy. Call your surgery and ask to talk to GP about whether you should be going back. Apparently they can back date them too :) and post them if you can't get about. I'm OK as I work from home and manage my own time within reason. You need to put your health first and if necessary involve your HR to remind your boss of his responsibilities to his staff...

You're right, but I feel guilty. My problem I know! I will go in in the morning and see how the land lies. I am only in tomorrow, and then 6 hours on Thursday. Then off until Monday. If he continues to be an @rse, I will speak to HR.

maxonian honey it sounds like you are being pressurised into going back to work and that is not on - you must only go back when you are fully fit and able - follow greenbee's advice.

I do feel pressurised, but with redundancies looming, I don't want to stick my head above the parapet.....

You see I'm not right - I read this as I need to banish OH to poo :rotfl:
On a flying front, I have dusted the coffee table which always makes the lounge look tidier. I have tidied and wiped the kitchen and utility.

DS is off to Download tomorrow, he's working there again. If he asks nicely I may take him to the pick-up point at 8am, otherwise he'll be on the bus! :D

DD takes her first A2 exam on Friday, she seems to be okay with them, calmer than she was with her GCSEs anyway!

We're off to London for a couple of days on Thursday. DH won Peter Kay tickets for the Thurs night at the O2, so we thought we'd make it a short break. Going on the Highgate Cemetery tour on the Friday afternoon (I love a good graveyard!) and to see the James Corden play in the evening. I'm really looking forwards to the break.

    love to all...

Living room has been flicked over with a duster and hoovered. The annexe is as empty as it's going to get and I still don't think I'm going to fit 72 boxes in there on Thursday (or possibly 76 as I've got another stock delivery and a jiffy bag order coming and what's the betting they turn up on Thursday too??). Also did a load of laundry and put another 11 items on my eBay business account.

Count me in again this week - thanks FCC for keeping me motivated. The flat is definitely tidier.
I've sat and written out my Toot list and it's huge so frogs will be eaten, I wonder if I could train the cats to eat them.... (wanders off pondering)
