Morning everyone, hope you are all well.
We had a quietish weekend. A friend popped in on Saturday afternoon for a cuppa and a chat. It was nice as we hadn’t seen each other since Christmas – and she only lives a 10 minute walk away the other side of the park opposite me..lol
Sunday was a productive day. Dh and I managed to finally get round to potting up my plants from the garden show last week. And we actually planted up the shrubs, that had been in pots for the last year getting strong, in their permanent places. Oooh that reminds me must get a back of compost in Asda as I need to pot up my Chocolate Cosmos in a pot, at the moment it is still in it’s pot from the garden show. Although it may have to wait until Thursday when I can get out.. Still it is looking really healthy, so that is the main thing.
Then in the afternoon, on Sunday, I went to visit my friend T and got all gooey over her two kittens Maisie and Mungo .. I really wanted to take them home..lol. They are so tiny and just adorable. Did ask D if he would let me have their brother, which is still with it’s mum at my friends mates house. But for some reason he said no, can’t imagine why!!
Have been watching the birds this morning, it’s so lovely to see them wandering around the garden and hopping on and off the feeders getting their breakfast. Mr Woody has been already and squashed a poor sparrow. Woody landed rather ungainly on top of the feeder and this poor sparrow was in his way. Thankfully said sparrow flew off, although if looks could kill in the bird world then I imagine Woody would not be a happy woodpigeon..lol
The chaffinch has been for her breakfast early, I think she was taking advantage of the garden being empty earlier on. I have seen Asbo robin dive bombing in the garden, I’m not sure what he is dive bombing but he is obviously having a ball..
At the moment Mr Blackbird is hogging one of the feeders, oh wait there is a wren sitting there with him. What a pretty sight it is, the beautiful black sheen of the blackbird and the pretty delicate wren sitting all serene. Mr and Mrs Dove haven’t been yet, but I would imagine it is a bit too early for them yet. They are not early risers for some reason, bless
them.
All the animals in the household are fast asleep in their various beds and DH has gone off to Manchester today, to see a client. I imagine he will be home early tonight..that will muck me up with my plans..lol
I have to sit in all day waiting for a UPS delivery and I have no idea what time they deliver round here. All the website says is the delivery will be done by the end of day. Oh well at least I can get on with housework etc.. Might even finish another one of my stitching pieces while watching a bit of t.v. later on. I am trying to finish four little projects to frame for the girls in my therapy class – I decided to stich “ Excuse Me, Has anyone seen my INSANITY ?? I seem to have lost it somewhere” I thought it was rather apt for all of us..lol
Better get dressed in a min as I have my care-co-ordinator coming for her visit at 10am.. Don’t want her to catch me in my dressing gown like she did the other day.. Gods I was mortified!!
AnW'sMum hugs for the 6th hon, I have changed my avi for you. xxx
Hugs and spoons to everyone, especially Toots, LW and LL. Sorry I haven't read the thread, will read it later

I am struggling to see what a froggy list is, anyone care to fill me in. I am guessing its a list of jobs I never get round to???
Have a good one y'all xYou can touch the dust but please don't write in it !
Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening?0 -
hey ladies, hope you are all well
busy day for me, got to head off to DD's sports day shortly then driving lesson, followed by shopping.
must remember to put the bins out. need to sort the kitchen today, and get some hoovering done. baby steps... xxx<insert super cool inspirational sig here>0 -
how did you do Dancemum?
I got quite a bit done, then had argument with DH about the double glazing, its all failed and no matter how much you clean the windows it makes very little difference. At best you look through a fog, at worst you look through a waterfall. It needs replacing but the frames wont take the new regulation double glazing so that means new windows, which we can't afford now and I don't see him in any hurry to save for them. :mad:Sue
Do I need to eat it
Can I afford the calories:eek:
have I checked for a lower calorie version:T0 -
Will not get much done today. Took DD to school, popped back to put DW on, off to playgroup in a mo, then will have to milk and feed baby DS, feed me and then will be at friend's DD birthday tea this afternoon, then will pick DD up straight from there. Bit of time with her then get dinner on, feed baby DS, serve dinner, few mins sit down, then get baby DS ready for bed, milk. Back down, make sarnies for DD, DD into bed, then flop down exhausted on the sofa. No wonder not much gets done re housework!
On the plus side I did list 5 eBay items last night, I had put 3 on my Frog list, which is one of the froggies today. It took me a a lot less time as I figured out how to take low res images on my camera so uploading the pics is a lot quicker. Hooray!
Also, don't want to speak too soon as I might jinx it, but baby DS (now 6.5 months) has slept through the night the last few nights!!!! However, still feel cruddy think I've got something as head feels like thunder and got a sore throat. Still, I would feel a lot worse without a full night's sleep.0 -
