Nooooooooo.........don't take...sob....our board....sob....away....sniffle...._pale_
I like the idea of just having it as a general festivities board (Valentine's Day before long :heartpuls ).
Although a gardening board would also be useful, as I really need to do something with my dandelion patch (calling it a lawn would be stretching the truth!). Or would gardening sit better as a sub-board on the Old Style board?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Probably better/more suited under OS I think
Maybe the board should include "any festivity you can buy a card for"...Just a thought...

Change the name to 'celebrations and seasonal festivities board' and keep it running.
As has been said, there are celebrations and seasonal festivities all year round. At the minute, ideas for birthdays, Easter, Halloween etc are usually dotted around various boards so having it all in one place would be better.
And like others, I'm already picking up bargains for next Christmas so where to find them would be great. Christmas happens at the same time every year so I never understand why some people seem to act as if it has just been sprung on them at the last minute and they have to buy everything within a couple of weeks which leads them to complain about the costI'm a little angelBUT A WHOLE LOTTA DEVIL

Keep a Celebrations/Festivities board and include childrens party ideas (I think this is on Families board at the moment.
PLEASE can we have a gardening board (the BBC gardeners board gets downright !!!!!y at times; MSEers are much nicer in general)0 -
For godness sake give the green-fingered bunch their board & get them off of here!:p:p:p Some of us can't hear jingle bells for the sound of lawn mowers!:D
Oh, and as for this board, I think it should stay as is or develop to include other celebtations like birthdays, easter etc. I for one was planning on using this board to develop my 12 month Christmas plan next year!:rotfl:Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
In England we have Mothering Sunday & Father Christmas, Mothers day & Santa Clause are American merchandising tricks:mad: Demonstrate pride in your heirtage by getting it right please people!0
