I booked on the 1 March and mailed on 2 March. Had a quick response asking for the snapshot of the booking. Mailed them back yesterday and got a response 'it has been passed to head office' this moring. Not bad..

but 'passed to head office' isn't the same as 'you've got a valid claim'? or is it? (genuine question!) :)

I got the same bland response and even when it came back from head office said 'claim will be ok' or something equally short and non-professional... but hey, what do I care - free hotel!

I have e-mailed them 3 times now to further clarify the exact amount I will receive as a refund and no response. I was replying to previous e-mail they had sent me - will I have more luck doing it through their website?

Also wanted a deal in London - plan to go up with 3 friends for a Saturday and stay overnight -any suggestions for somewhere central? Ideally we'd all stay in the same room to keep things simple or 2 rooms max.

    I used both. Try customer@hotelopia.com

I got mine confirmed today - getting over £800 back! Well happy! Thank you everyone!

I have booked a hotel in Inverness for 5 days over Easter last week, not a freebe, but only £121. Still waiting for a reply, have not received a mail that it had been passed to HQ, but hoping I'll get it soon :(

Hotel Details: Thistle Inverness 3 STARS
    Arrival Date: 04.04.2007
    Departure Date: 09.04.2007
    Adults per room: 2
    Price : 665 GBP
    https://www.superbreak.com price : 393 GBP

A new month starts in 2 days, you all know what that means, don't you ;o)

After 2 weeks and 4 emails I have finally received an email confirming that my claim for a hotel in Inverness was accepted :)

Blimey, I have just booked the Thistle Inverness myself after looking at it for a few days!!!
I'm there (hopefully) from April 2nd to 7th.
I had such a nice time in Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago, I thought I would go to Scotland again!

I have just had the 'sent to head office' email within 2 hours of claiming!!!

I booked 'room only' and the comparison was with all-hotels.com.

Might see some of you up there!

    Caz x
