  • Can someone please confirm that you can claim once per calendar month and not every 30 days? I claimed on about the 10th of February and would like to book another hotel ASAP.
  • HI carl, I have got an email from hotelopia customer service about 2 weeks ago confirming that you can claim once per calendar month not 30 days, I think I posted on one earlier page.

But since easyjet has been chaning their t&c, the best bet is to email their customer service asking the question, and getting a confirmation in writing before you make the booking, that way you have their own words and you will be 100% safe.
  • I've just spoken to them and they say every 30 days, however, they may just be trying to fob me off!

And surely everytime they change their T&C's you are seen as a "new customer" - as the previous bookings that you have made were agreeing to the old T&C's?

Would be interesting to get the booking frequency thing in writing, as it does seem to differ depending on who you speak to.

    Hi Bazcab,

My claim was accepted by EJH (MacDonald Holyrood Hotel, Edinburgh - very nice BTW) and it showed 'standard double' on EJH and 'Double Room' on both Superbreak and Hotelconnect.com (still not sure which was accepted, I'm guessing both as they asked for screenshots when I had only claimed against Superbreak).

That hotel only has rooms that are: 'classic - double or twin', 'feature - double or twin' or 'executive - double or twin' so they aren't actually worded as just 'standard' or 'double' on the MacDonald hotels site anyway.

    Good luck,
    Caz x

(ps I'm already getting itchy feet again!!)

Thanks for the info Caz, that's just what I wanted to hear :)

Its the Macdonald Marine hotel I'm after, so I think I'll just away and book it the night :)

    Cheers
  • Hi,

I'm having big trouble finding a hotel in London with this for the 5th to the 8th April. I took the advice of someone earlier about the Thistle hotels but Easyjet are onto us and these hotels are marked as on request now and so not included in the guarantee - monkeys! :O)
    Has anyone come across anything?

Thanks in advance and congrats to anyone who has managed this!

Someone (sorry can't remember who!) suggested NH Harrington Hall in London?
    Gone ... or have I?
  • Thanks for that but that hotel doesn't seem to be coming up on the website for those dates! :O( Any other suggestions?
