    Hi guys,

This looks like a really great deal! Sorry if has been asked before but I went through the thread could not find it. When does easyjet take the money from your card? Immediately or a few days before your booking? My main concern being that if I book a room for july the money would be charged to my card now and so i will have to pay it with my next statement as I would not get a refund till I come back in July. Could someone who has done this please clarify this for me.

    Thanks a lot

They charge about 6 days later, so yes, if you booked for July, you would have to pay now and wait until you had completed your stay to get a refund!

If you wanted to avoid this, get a 0% purchase card!

  • Hello

Just wondering if anyone knows if https://www.reserveahotelonline.com is a website that easyjet hotels will accept a quote from? They are ATOL bonded and they have a UK telephone number but I don't know if that means that they are "UK bonded" as stipulated by easyjet hotels terms and conditions. I can't see the ABTA symbol on their site so I wondered if anyone had any ideas?

I've tried everywhere for a back-up quote but this is the only one I can find so I'm thinking of just going for it and if easyjet hotels don't accept it then I'll take the hit on the £15 cancellation fee and put it down to experience.

I'd really appreciate your opinions on whether or not you think it's worth the gamble?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I'm having big trouble finding a hotel in London with this for the 5th to the 8th April. I took the advice of someone earlier about the Thistle hotels but Easyjet are onto us and these hotels are marked as on request now and so not included in the guarantee - monkeys! :O)
    Has anyone come across anything?

Thanks in advance and congrats to anyone who has managed this!
Thistle Bloomsbury is showing on EJH as £675 for a 'Double Standard' or 'Twin Standard' including breakfast for 5-8 April. https://www.diytravel.co.uk has a 'Double' or 'Twin' including breakfast for £347.80 - a difference of £327.20. Double this and you get £654.40 meaning if your claim was accepted, you would be paying £20.60 for 3 nights in London.

  • Hi, Excuse me if I am being thick but I have just looked at the terms and conditions on Easyjethotels and I just want to make sure with you all that a hotel stay would be refunded even if it isn't at the end of a plane journey.

you only need complete a stay ina location where easyjet fly to i.e. not New York. You can fly with easyjet or catch a lift on a bernard matthews turkey if you so wish

Just went back to hotelscomparison to get the quote and it looks like someone has beaten me to it! The rho price has doubled and is now the princely sum of £1 more expensive than the Hotelopia price......

Thanks very much for your help though (and also thanks to dmg24!). They may have beaten me this time but I'll be back!
