mmm pizza rice sounds nice pippi might have to try that one

Exactly - its easy and kids got hooked by the phrase pizza - anything with pizza in the title will get the thumbs up - if I'd called it tomato rissoto with cheese they'd have gone yuk

starnac its truely easy and works well with any other bits you've got around to lob in (I'm thinking veggies or meat, not random bits of furniture or newspapers) :rotfl:

Now, cheery your mum sounds ace too!

Its after 5pm, that job I have applied for has officially closed - will I sit by the phone?

Probably not hear for ages - but there you are!

Money money money - rent accumulated - we'll live anohter month
Told OH I'd rather not have the red car for two weeks as I don't think I can afford to run it - so he's taking his own car home
Banks all tight but OK - might see if I can sneak a pad to a card
Did a tiny shop at the local shop for cocoa, butter and ricecakes and posh local bread (I'm sick, I'm allowed) :o
Not much else happenning with money

When you aint got much, you can't spend it eh? And I'd like to say thank you to the tax man for listening, not charging me any tax and being sensible about my low earnings.

KC I've not done anything, not even made it upstairs - about to make a lemsip (no whisky Keiss, I'll keep that for when I can appreciate it) Well I washed the tomatoes and the courgettes and then did the eggs but nowt else. My work ethic is sick today. I'm tucking it in for a nap, it came come back another day.

Funny how our folks have different ideas about stuff - eh? My grannie always gave tiny portions to the girls and larger ones to the men!

my grandma always gave ludicrous portions to everyone other than herself (especially cake :D).We still refer to large pieces of cake as 'grandma sized portions' (although my grandma herself was quite small! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:)

Fingers crossed for job PIppi! :T :T :T Annoyingly they may not look til Monday, pah! fingers crossed...

hope you feel better soon Pippi, i think i'm confuddled as i thought you were all going away. have a healing snuggle with Peedie and the little Pips and give your work ethic a much deserved rest.

Get well soon Pippi from poorly Kittikins, I've got the coldy coughy gruesome bug, handy if I wanted to be all sulty on an 0898 number but a pain otherwise, as my voice is very husky for an hour or so in the morning and I must look gruesome if even a checkout person in the supermarket suggested I go home and relax on the sofa!

My brother's coming down for the weekend so I'd better make sure I get some rest as I'll be sharing my bed with DD tomorrow (she can't wait although now she has an electric blanket on her bed and I haven't got myself one yet, she may be less eager to come into my frozen boudoir!) and he'll be in her room.
  • Morning chaps. Up and lemsipped (non brand obviously)

    Mrf off o ferry.

    Chooks fed
    Peedie fed
    D/w emptied and refilled
Hokey cokey on (indoor dry today)

On sofa contemplating large pile of tomatoes/courgettes which might be pasta/pizza sauced later
Thinking about baking brownies for kidlets waking up
    Bit cleaning to do.

After the lemsip wears off I'll be back on the sofa.

Thinking soon of a new diary if I get that job, be decent money with that and any of my own work, be a real push to clear cc's and penguin chops and save dorm fees for first child flying off next year.

Need more focus, but it's early so today I'm letting myself off

Kettle back on. Visitors in a week, need clean house before then, bit at a time.

A great plan, I've adjusted it slightly! I don't iron, except weddings, funerals and giving talks, it would seem, luckily I am in a scruffy profession! :T

Now mr pip is off I'll do less mooning about the place and more *stuff*

Kettle back on :) boiled eggs in the plan too, just watching mr pips ferry leaving the port, I promised to wave, ok he's about 3miles away, but a promise is a promise :A

    What you guys at today.

Morning Pippi, just wanted to pop by and say thanks for wandering into my diary!

I have to say I agree with you on the ironing front, job interviews is pretty much the only time I give in.... although the OH was a military dude at one time and for some reason loves ironing, maybe I should take advantage of this.....

Hope you feel better soon, recovering takes priority over 'stuff'!

  • Hey up nice to see you. My dad was army, think he ironed enough for the rest of my life.

Taking the 15 minute thing seriously. And sitting on mse inbetween, which is fine cos gilligan and lu said i could :) Nice big pot of hm tomato pasta/pizza sauce bubbling away on stove from HG toms (tins would do!) and a cuppa in hand. Need to get it cooked whizzed and portioned up for freezing :) in between standing on a stool and taking pictures for blog (got a message about making hm sauce, so promised I'd lob up a 'lazy girl' recipe :)

Brownies next for the yoofs in my life (saves buying biscuits!)

    :)

Lovely for you to pop by, MSE is a great p,ace!
