I had a wedding to go to today which meant my niece and her boyfriend moving in to puppy sit. Rodders has been thoroughly spoilt all day with 2 play mates pandering to his every whim. He was very pleased to see me home though
Pippi - Rodders seems to be a gardening dog. He doesn't like green stuff between the joins in the path or patio so they have been dug out and is now clearing the lawn of moss. He is also eating the few strawberries that have come through late (obviously as confused by the weather this year as the rest of us!) and seems to love them. Is there anything poisonous I need to check to see if I have? Not really sure what I have got out there to be honest!:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Yay rodeos had fun.
From an expensive trip to the vets, daffodil bulbs aren't great (peedie ate a few was sick so much we needed go vets, he had a jab, came home and tried to eat more of them!)
I'll check tomorrow and let you know..........x

Brill, thanks Pippi
Only have Daffs out the front and he can't go out there on his own as it isn't secure so that's OK.
Hope you are managing to tell that cold that isn't it is time to go away!:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Morning Pippi  all round.
Hope you've kicked that cold into touch and are feeling much better - take more sofa time if you're still feeling rough.
I got a cookery book from the library yesterday and whilst it's not much use, the author did make reference to Constance Spry who I only know in a 'cooking' context, but apparently she was a gifted flower gardener. Anyway, you mentioned a couple of posts back that you were considering a new diary in line with the acquisition of a new job (think positive). Anyway, I wondered if there was any diary title inspiration in the title of Constance's flower book; Simple Flowers - A millionaire for a few pence.
Just a thought ..........(and you can see why it leapt off the page and I thought of you!)
Anyway, it's mushroom kedgeree a go go here and there's a rugby match to be watched.
Have a good day.
