A great plan, I've adjusted it slightly! I don't iron, except weddings, funerals and giving talks, it would seem, luckily I am in a scruffy profession! :T

I wouldn't iron except that until recently I didn't have a tumble dryer, and only have enough space outside for a couple of things to dry on the line.

I hate ironing! I am developing the knack of finding things that don't crease very much.

Morning! Glad to hear you're taking the 15m thing seriously, Pippi, you still don't sound well.

Ironing! I iron about 3 times a year, for about 10 minutes each time - tho I did notice yesterday that since I was wearing an actual shirt it would have helped if the button front itself had been ironed :o still don't care enough to do it tho :rotfl:

Poor Pippi, hope you feel better soon !
Quick update. The creeping Phlox I was going to chop bits off for cuttings must have heard about my plan as it's now flowering in an attempt to deter attacks on itself. Also my bronze coloured witch hazel has produced some nuts! I wonder if I could get them to grow into baby plants?
Would a couple of nuts help your recovery ? apart from us lot on here that is.

Morning all, having a lazy morning today. :o

It's the first Saturday in 6 weeks that there hasn't been rugby to watch! The final is tomorrow, but I'll be watching it on my own as DH is taking DS2 up to Leeds for a Uni Open Day. They are leaving about 7:30 so I'll be up in plenty of time!!

I will catch up on the ironing then too. Sorry, despite not liking ironing, I still feel the need to do it, however infrequently!! Must be the Presbyterian Scot in me...continually doing something I hate!!

Looking out, it is lovely and sunny...and 15 degrees now, so perhaps today will be the start of the great Autumn tidy-up!! The greenhouse needs clearing, then cleaning...there are a few few aubergines, loads of chillies and a number of toms that need picking/ripening indoors. Think I will bring most of the pepper plants inside too...still room on the conservatory windowsills!!

With DS off college next week, I might make the most of him and get him to help me clean the glass down before putting the bubble-wrap up. Might have a go with gaffer tape like Monty used last night. Usually use the clip things, but their numbers are dwindling, and they are quite expensive....also have a few rolls of tape in the shed, so will have a go. This year I just might just get the greenhouse organized for winter before the end of October, shock horror!!!!

Well, I must make a start before lunch...have a wonderful weekend. Hope you shrug off your cold soon Pippi, and other cold-sufferers too ofcourse!
