thanks LT and Pippi for making me feel better about her tea.
I seem to have found energy from somewhere and have been busy glossing the woodwork. Is this my nesting instinct finally kicking in???

Hello All (uni waves)
Starnac, I'm hamper making and deliberating whether to hand in my old clothes to the charity shop or take it to the place that gives you 50p per kilo.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -
:o bad mum alert
:o
DD had tomato sauce sandwiches for her tea.:o
She wouldn't have anything else I offered her. Honest.
No child ever starved themselves to death
And what the others have said about ketchup is spot on - have you looked at the ingredients? Its actually very good!
Pippi, your tartiflette sounds lurvely - one day, I'll *cook* something with tatties, rather than just steaming them and throwing a sauce over them :cool:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hey up chaps
Well I'm back home in denial about this cold I 'dont' have
Got cold medicine, and lemon/honey sweeties and real lemon and honey too
Watered at work today came home with a pile of courgettes (which will cover petrol) once made into sauce and a free pair of size 4 walking boots from a collegue who thought they might fit me, worn by the previous owner 2-3 times. Result!
3 letters from tax office..................big gulps and oh just get on with opening them
As I thought all three years no tax to pay - phew
Oddly they've not sent back my 07-08 return notice - was employed/self employed then half way through I started phd - maybe they are scratchign their heads about that one too?
On the positive side of being so scared of submitting htem all - I've already done 10/11 and its nowt too
When I hear about the 07/08 stuff I'll finally feel like I'm on track
Hello to all
Head full of mince, hope you're all good
starnac - Mr F away this weekend, although not in that weather - we wanted (me and dd) to go up to one of the peedie islands here (Nrth Ronaldsay) which is £10 on the plane if you stay over (which we were going too) but we couldn't get back on the plane we wanted to as its full, I guess A 9 seater fills up quickbetter luck next time.
Now, no plans maybe a house tidy and a bit cooking. Pick the last of the tomatoes
Waves to all(covers hand over mouth don't want to let you lot catch anything)
Ps starnac when I was little jam and bread for tea was considered a treat................................I love ketchup sandwiches, guess cos I don't like sweet stuff
Or chip butties, yum yum.
KC tarteflette - easy as you like, bascially boil/simmer sliced tatties and a bit of onion in milk (and/or creme fresh or cream cheese) for about half an hour. Cheap meal and its just so yummy - I don't follow the posh recipes as they are full of cream and cheese (which I like) but its too expensive making it like that I just buy up reduced skimmed milk and use that instead. OK its not uber posh, but neither are we. I'd rather keep nice cheese to eat when its still cheese, the price of it is scary.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

I would be most obliged if it left the area too
Hope you're good - off to find a sofa a blanket and have a wee catch up over fences, or nap depending which one arrives first.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

You poor thing! It'll go away quicker if you look after yourself and get plenty of rest
Pah to not being able to come back from North Ronaldsay! I went up there once years ago, but on the boat. Absolutely GORGEOUS day, utterly stunning placeDidn't stay over - but I did leave my camera there in the bird observatory cafe and it had a little adventure coming back on the plane all by itself! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
