Me thinks Pippi is a master when it comes to cheap(ish) options for getting down south, no stone left unturned in her search!

That sounds a great deal for the 3 of you, well done :T:T:T

  • Yay I know eh? NOt bad, only one way (the flights are £40 each, then of course there are the taxes grrrr) but OK to get from here to Glasgow.

Mr F will bring us home - therefore we've not too much expense that way back and we'll stay in his flat in central area.

Done a few listings on ebay - need to do more and rootle through the dvd cupboard.

The radley mirror I have has gone for £7.50 previously so thats not bad eh?

Hello to all, utterly vile weather here - went out and did chooks - poor things and then retrieved the pots of compost hurtling about the place

Mr F paid for the flights I need to pay him back asap - well when I've made a cunning money plan....
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Well done Pippi, that's great about the flights and MrF taxi service :)
  • Lots listed (well a bit anyway) on ebay and beginning to relist on amazon. Going into work later to check tunnels etc - and water, waiting for Mr F who wants to go to the music shop too.

More amazoning/ebaying foraging about the house now I think!

Good luck with the indoor foraging! The point about seasonal plants is a good one! Next year .... starting with Easter!

Hope you had a lovely afternoon - sorry your winds are still so bad (again) - right here right now, its very quiet, almost still - and then you look up into the sky, and I swear to you, the clouds are in stripes - there must be so much wind up there!

Indoor foraging makes me think you have brambles growing round your living room :rotfl: Have fun :)

No brambles in the living room, but its an idea - only the last of the tomatoes!

KC stripey clouds sound cool - hope you're both good?

I'm into town today working on a presentation for tomorrow for guru chap as a replacement - terrified, these never get better but I said I'd step in

Ebay things all got bids on - well some of them

    LT I'll pm you later

Hailing here - big white muckle lumps - lol.

    October, right?

    Have a great day everyone!

:rotfl:Love this idea red!! At least you can keep the birds off them!!

Woops to the hail Pippi...well, they did forecast snow for "up north" this week...:o

Still managing to avoid having the heating on down here...DS2 is moaning about this quite a lot!! :D It was 4 deg C this morning outside, and only 9 in the conservatory...definitely dressing gown weather first thing!!! Holding out for a Nov switch on...and not necessarily the 1st either, though I can see DS2 switching it on that first Nov morning, he is counting down the days!!! :rotfl:

Well done on booking the flights Pippi..a great deal, and so much quicker too!!! :T:T

Now looking across at the piggy-back plant I got from you Pippi which was so ickle in the summer. Looks like I will have to repot it again, it's over 10" across now!! As one of the few plants that can tolerate low light levels, I might move it to the bathroom, along with one of the spider plants...they need to come indoors soon before they get frosted!

Right, need to wrap up various pressies now, some to get posted and some to be delivered, though I have yet to finish making one of them :o

That wind is getting up....rain forecast, though nothing yet...won't be long methinks!! :(
