    Hello and welcome back.

Busy working here - quick lunch but wanted to say HI.
Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher
  • Quiet hi back, working too, but alone and happy to dip in and out

Keiss - poor you - hugs hope the anti-b work soon, house is quiet - only ds home, dd in town with chums and I'm in office - but happy later when all dandering about!

LT ebay free listing, argh, oh well, I missed it too - I've things to propagate and get listed at home

Energy MOI? I rather think ants in pants more likely

    :)

Debts aren't really moving much, I'm using cards to pay for food/petrol and putting any *spare* cash into them as I get it. It will slowly come down, on my statement I noticed that I'd paid out £600 and paid in £750 on one card, so although its small and slowly coming down, I guess its coming down............so the big chunks look like alot but really they are only covering a bit of debt and a bit of what i'm spending (iyswim)

One day, it will all be fine....................(repeat chant as often as required)

And, today I will buy no food. (ditto re chanting)

That's great about your eBay/ website plans :) Know what you mean about T&M, had some vouchers for there for Christmas and - aside from the fact you can only officially use one voucher per order and I had to email them about that - it's really annoying that there's no tracking system for the orders or more than a rough idea when they might arrive (I spent weeks on end going "where's my tomatoes?" :o)

Keiss.. ouchy, hope you feel better soon.
Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012.

  • Red very annoying indeed! I'm trying to be a bit more flexible, using this and more 'ethical' practices to give me a different kind of a service, being small you can do that, being large, I guess annoyingly you can't and have to give generic things like 'approximate' delivery dates.

10 more tiny bits of tweaking done on thesis, all done on scribbled paper, now putting into final copy electronically - having fun scribbling things off list :)

Today spent £30 on uniform for cellist (on c card), although to be fair she's going into 4th year and this is the first uniform we've had to buy everything else came from freecycle/chums - but its wearing out! But, blimely £9 for a polo top and 20 for a rugby shirt - ouch, the logo must cost alot eh? and, of course we can only use one or two local shops to get the stuff. Could be worse though, thankfully ds has no uniform. Gave cellist £30 - £10 for lunch and a little bit for 'treats' or school bits, mainly money owed to her, but nice to give her some money and say go have a bit of fun this afternoon on your way to chums.

I will not buy food on way home.............................but I do need petrol.

    Hi all
    It's sunny!!!!!!!!and warm!!!!!!!!!!!!and not raining!!!!!!!!!!
This is pretty amazing as It seems to have been wet and horrible for ages. Actually got the lawn cut although it was getting that long that investing in a sheep was starting to look like a sensible option.Forecast for tomorrow is................you guessed..wet!
The rabbits ears ,both pink and white are setting seed so I must get some collected ...soon.

Thanks for your kinds words...feeling a bit better, though still not great.

Not done much since I got back from the dentist, had lunch (banana sandwich, dog got the crusts :D), then dozed a bit while listening to the cricket. England did well, shame Tendulkar didn't get his 100th 100...only 9 short...poor man!!

There are now four fruit loaves in the oven as well as a big lump of beef on a slow roast. Have made up the batter for pop-overs, so all is well in the world - apart from my tooth!!! :o

Might try and finish washing down the conservatory windows, didn't quite get them done before heading into town this morning. So much for getting the staining done while it was dry today

Oh well, it will all have to wait, I want to do a good job rather than rush things. Hopefully the anti-bs will kick in and do their job soon.

Have a good evening everyone, rain forecast for the rest of the week here...:(:(

Keiss, that really doesn't sound good, of course you want to feel sorry for yourself!

Pippi, thats so nice to be able to give the cellist a bit of cash and say "go buy things" :) and you know, you do have energy - you may not feel great when the house is quiet, but you seem to get a lot done.

    Morning all,

Where is everyone today..busy putting the world to rights no doubt.

Thankyou for your kind words, KC and KK, glad you got the washing in in time KK. I gree with you KC, being able to give your kids some extra money is great.

Managed at last to persuade DS1 to let me buy him some new trrainers (he's has the same pair for 2 years and they fell apart a few weeks ago!). So they have been ordered online and paid for with his CC and we have transferred the money to his account. He has known which kind he has wanted for ages, so good to get them for him at long last.

Ended up having a long-lie this morning....not sure if it did me that much good though! :o

Odd today, haven't had any of the rain they forecast yesterday, so only put the washing on a few minutes ago...that'll bring the rain clouds rolling in, guaranteed!! :rotfl::rotfl:

So outdoor activities being performed by my boys this morning when they thought they'd be shut indoors: DS1 has already been a 30 mile cycle run and DS2 is off out to shift more earth while it is still dry, he is filling the hole where the pond used to be...quite a big area, but he's doing a grand job :D.

Right, I need to get some bits done round the house....loads to do then :rotfl:

Have a great day all xx

everyone sounds very busy, sorry to hear about your tooth Keiss hope it clears soon.

we've had torrential rain here this morning which was pretty much what we'd been forecasted, but as yet we've not had the thunder storms.

glad everyone's settled back in nicely at home Pippi. Nothing much to report in the land of LT, seem to be in a holding pattern for everything, at least it's payday on friday so that will give me something to do :)
