  • Ok my little life today in longstockignland

Adjust to no iphone, gave it to my friend (well may have exchanged it for petrol and a few goodies) - this will be different but I think I only want a phone which I can text and well, um phone on. We're both seeeing how we get on with it...............

Cellist to town for new uniform (jumpers) they only have to wear one thing from school
Gamer needs time out to game
Doggie very happy and probably needs time for a scamp later
Work on final bits of corrections and proofing, I'm aiming to hand this in at the end of the week
No *paid* work today and none on the horizon - need fathom some ebay time or sojmething
Meal plan for freezer to cut down consumption at shops
Have a bit fun doing something nice today
HM lunch if I go into work
    HM tea from stores

Ok thats my plan for today, bit of online action too and see if I can reduce my phone contract from £25 to minimum or get rid of it

Sounds good, Pippi - but yes, working on income is sadly important too ....

Hope it all goes well - I'm signing off now, trying to cut down my time on here a *little* bit, so actually shutting down the tab .... off to sort those phone calls and emails

Hello, glad to hear Big Little Longstockings have been picked up and home safely :) Well done Cheery on the train bargain (must remember that site!)

Lula's suggestion about seeds/ plants on eBay is really good (or do you do that already?).. some of the best seeds I've had have been from small business eBay sellers.

Anyway have a loverly day :)

Hope you have a lovely day Pippi.

ps - do you have an ebay flowers & seeds shop ? I need some & would much prefer to buy from an MSE friend ;)
pm a linky thing if you do,

    thank you
    xx

Lula I did, I do and I will!
Thanks for asking, its going to a be a constituant (sp?) of the patchworky life bespoke quantities of seeds and plants to order, no order too small :) all grown organically and sent off in recycled packaging etc :D

In the process of relisting bits on ebay, I've every type of seed imaginable and I'm propagating at the moment. Only one thing today thus far listed online (CAT MINT OR nepeta plugs)...... my ebay name is my blog name..........but there are only a few listings on there now.

My new swankymcdanky website is 3/4 done - where I'll list everything to do on there, give online garden support and also will be listing on ebay to get a bit traffic over. I may need ginuea pigs before it goes live later in the year to see what gremlins lurk in there.

Red, it is a good idea isn't it? I've had some of the best plants advice and seeds on ebay from small sellers.

I also tried T&M plugs for a few things this year to see how the big boys compete..........the plants were fine, but ordering was less than fun (they will arrive when they tell you they will), and the postage cost was horrendous. I'm looking to combine plant cost and postage in one price, thus no nasty surprises at checkout. Well thats the theory anyway.

Now I'm off to scamper about in house in the manner of a lady who needs food! Prob on later when finalising corrections to make life entirely lesstedious by catching up on you lot!

i didn't take advantage of ebays free listing weekend, no surprise there then i hear you say.
Your debts are coming down well given your patchwork lifestyle.

    Afternoon all

Glad the kids are back home safe and well Pip
pi...and being nice and noisy about the house :D

    Been busy over the weekend:

Took loads of stuff to a car boot on Saturday, only made £30 :(, but did sell a few things. The rest of the books and glass-ware DH and DS2 took to a charity shop in the afternoon, so there is a bit more space in the house! :j

We continued to clear out and wash down the conservatory over the weekend and I planned to get started with staining the woodwork today.

Unfortunately, I have an infection in a wisdom tooth :(. I went to the dentist this morning and got some antibitoics. She has warned me that if the meds don't clear the infection, then I could well end up having my tooth taken out in hospital :eek: All her prodding about has made my mouth very sore, so not sure if I will get much done today after all. :(:(

Sorry, feeling a bit sorry for myself atm ...slinks off to have a lie down and mope.

Enjoy the rest of the day x
