Hi all
Just to let you know that I'm still lurking even though i haven't posted for ages.
It's taken me two weeks to realise that for some reason i wasn't logged in and therefore couldn't post.
Mums radiotherapy ends on Thursday and life will get back to normal a bit.
All my bruises have now gone (fell down the stairs again) so not quite so embarassing going out in short sleeved tops!

I'm loving the washing songs! And while I remember, yes, you can freeze glass - my mum has bought me my little Waitrose jars of pesto, and we didn't have a proper place to keep them, so of course ended up buying two. Surplus frozen in-jar, and it was fine when it came out.

Hugs all round, I'm tired and off to bed must have done the juggling right as I have £5 left in fat controller (capital one dd out), deep breath tomorrow and make sure that one doesn't go over more money in wtfc on Friday - thankfully

I may need to go south, to get the kids, silly daddies been well a bit silly really, it would appear there aren't any flights left on the day the kids get back to scotland to fly them on to here *sigh*, not like the french flights (to get them to scotland) have been booked for, um, 5 months - oh wait a minute yes they have. But, he only looked to book the bit up to here yesterday.

Keiss, Keiss, Keiss.... if you don't like ironing, don't do it! Return your ironing board to cupboard of doom and skip merrily off into the crumpled day. I'll hazard a guess people will stop mentioining any crumpleyness if you tell them you'll happily take your clothes off for them to iron for you there and then! :rotfl::rotfl:

Uhm, Pippi, I found you . Cheri's wee place looks just beautiful and I've realised I remember just enough school-girl German to not quite get the jist!

But I haven't quite got a clue what's going on yet. Though I think you need to watch for those snakes doing the hokey cokey in the laundry basket. No wonder there's so many holey socks!

I shall probably be reading your diary from both ends in an attmept to catch up. But I have a uni course that needs to be finished by 16th September! So shoo me off until after that date!

Good grief Pippi, he is a right twonk as you say (much more polite than what I really think!:rotfl:).

He seems to have a habit of doing this...as if it's just a short hop and a skip to get down to Edinburgh for you to collect them!! :mad::mad::mad:

Hya niccatw, long time no see....I know I should abandon ironing completely....but I just can't seem to, so feed my guilt trip every week with all the washing that I do At least a lot of DS2's doesn't need ironing, being sporty stuff.

Right off to do a bit with the new iron...one of these ones with a separate water tank...Dad gave it to us when we were north. He got it off one of the shopping channels...he spends far too much on there! DS1 has used it twice this week, and rather likes it. Our old one kept tripping the power off...even when plugged in with an RCD!! Here's hoping this one will be better.

((((((((greenval)))))))))))) I fell down the stairs a few months ago too - proper painful - ouch! You poor thing! (I just had one bruise - about the size, shape and colour of a large aubergine, on my backside )
