DS1 has just informed me that his trip to see a Uni pal this week has been cancelled. He was heading for Ealing Broadway tomorrow, but apparently it is on fire atm!!
It seems there are riots sprouting up everywhere!!! Both in Birmingham and Coventry as well as London...decided not to do too much research tonight as I am shattered and want to sleep rather than worryMy sister and family are on holiday in Turkey atm, so at least they are safe (they live in London area). Hoping this senseless violence stops soon
What is this country coming to??? Give me rural Scotland every time.

From what I've seen pips there are plenty of people on here who aspire to the 'before' pictures in the glossy makeover mags! Given a choice between a picture of a spanking new kitchen with nothing out of place and a homely kitchen with baking/brewing carnage I'm sure you'd get a lot of takers!!!!!Pippilongstocking wrote: »
I do fancy the idea of owning a highland cow
Em, does OH think they're cute as well :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I reckon those houses in country living don't look like that all the time! (in fact, there's even a pile of dusty mucky old plant pots in this months mag! :rotfl: made my heart soar :rotfl: :rotfl:) You never know - they might even tidy up for you!! I remember reading about someone having a photoshoot done for something like that and they turned up with loads of lovely flowers and she kept them afterwards0

Morning all, GG he did think they were cute
not too convinced he wanted to own one, but we're all different
and (CL) they'd have their work cut out here
Cheery you're right, my pal did it in July 2010 and told of the time all the photographing took!
Right brekkie, and wriggling

Morning All!
Yay! to bag re-use, much better than them getting thrown in the bin eh? which was to be their destination - far too good to waste!! Really glad that you are able to make such good use of them. Any we get in the future will have '4Pippilongstocking' etched all over them!!!:rotfl:

Pippi, you're doing so much, I can't keep up!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Gosh lots of chatter here. Pippi, have you ever noticed certain items cropping up in several houses in the same CL magazine (wicker hearts/cushions/flowers). They are most definitely stage set. It is my goal to have my Austrian house photographed for a house magazine in the future.
Maybe you could write the article for me.

Ah you see the hockeycokey is your washing.
It started on the small things thread, I do beleive there was even a little song
you put the washing in
you take the washing out
to save ironing it, you shake it all about
then you hang it up, drying for free in the air
and, that's what it's all about!
Repeat for several verses
got a bit boring writing, washing, air dry, smooth out to avoid ironing.. Z
well it amused me, eventually I think it got shortened to HCTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
