Hello i was on holiday with Andy and Steve (from MSE) and we met up with Susan (3dogs) and her husband and had such a laugh!!!!

I have just been dropped off by the boys and am supposed to be unpacking but i crept on here half way through.

    Glad job is going well.

Booo hiss to the Fatty's. Blooming toads.

    Is Horace ok?

Glad hurricane didn't hurt the ex even if he is a toad.

Hope weather has been good by you. It rained for some of the holiday but I still thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I am now the size of a house!!!!

I'm sure it's just a teeny, tiny one-storey house, SW, so no need to worry. Glad you had a good time.

Here are we ... after she moaned that we weren't around, and now where is the woman herself?

I hope she is chopping up the fatty's and feeding them to the pigeons or even better, walking and chilling with Mr T.

I am going to do some more unpacking. Back later.

    Sorry, Sorry.....

I didn't think that anyone was around this weekend so I didn't post anything.... mia culpa!

We had a power cut for a few hours yesterday evening. I saw a Leccy Rapid Response van outside in the afternoon and it was obviously more major than we thought as it all went kaput at about 5.30 and stayed that way until nearly 10pm. I read while it was daylight and then napped on the settee until I was awoken with everything coming on at the same time  Radio, TV, lights, phone - the world went mad, briefly.

Busy morning today - cleaned and then drove 15 miles or so to do a MS - everything hunky dory.
It is a strange set of affairs with this particular company - if you give everything an A1 rating, great, you hear nothing more and get paid. But.... if you so much as criticise anything at all - it is like the Spanish Inquisition and that is when you are in danger of having the assignment rejected.
Now, any fool would realise that even if things are not great, it is better to keep your mouth shut and just mark it all as being OK. They really need to look at the system because it is penalising people for telling the truth.. Crazy! Luckily, the branch I visited this morning was, and is, superb. No problems at all.

Lots and lots of rain this weekend and just about to take MrT out for a long walk as I am sure that it is going to rain again this afternoon.

MrsF is back tumble drying in the evenings - she was stuck last night with the power cut as she had just started the machine. I do wonder now if she is doing it on purpose and only running it in the evenings? The noise monitoring equipment is being installed the week after next - let's see what, if any, difference that makes.

Not particularly looking forward to next week at work - manager is back on Tuesday. I have got a virus on my machine at work and can't use it. The IT manager was supposed to be coming up to sort it but ran out of time, so we have got 2 terminals between 3 of us. Can't wait :(
I am also a teeny bit worried as I haven't had anything in writing about the new job. By nature I am a worrier but there is a bit of history with this company on U Turns and I am dreading that it just may happen again. It could also be that they are waiting for my manager to get back and for the transfer date to be formalised. let's hope so - I don't think I can take any more of this "hopes up/hopes dashed" rollercoaster ride.

More or less resigned to not having my holiday this year and will wait until after Christmas. That gives me a chance to:-

    1) transfer (think positive)
    2)settle in
    3) pass probation (again)
    4) buy a new TV
    5) decorate new bedroom

and plan it all properly. It also means that I can go for 2 weeks instead of 1. All good, and not too long to wait.

Boss of my little cleaning job says I look different - more relaxed and happier. I am sure that this is because I am sleeping at night. It is wonderful, right through and not waking up at all. Marvellous.

Not too much to tell - I am please everyone is OK. Good to have sw back .....

    Hugs everyone :)

SW, I do love that cartoon! SA, if you have met a hot guy then I really want to hear about that, and it's not a good excuse not to be on here.

Well, I think as she's not here to defend herself we can make up lots of stories.
