Forgot to say well done on this matter too. You probably thought I overlooked it ... but you are not avoiding me that easily. I hope you are feeling relieved now that you didn't see your friend and even more relieved that your resolve wasn't put to the test this soon re that-person-you-are-not-thinking-about. And you saved yourself two lots of spending in the process. Much to be proud about.
I hope you enjoyed your riding. It is lovely riding weather here today. And lovely walking weather. It is not, however, lovely sitting in an office weather, which is what I am doing.
Have a lovely weekend."Green pastures are before me,

Sunday is here already - back to work tomorrow
One of the reasons that I am looking forward to getting back to full time is that I will be more in a routine and not having lumps of free time each week. It can get a bit boring and idle minds and idle hands tend to stray..... been thinking of "over there" - it is a year since I first planned to go back after a 2 year break. That led to a 5 week stay and a lot of pleasure .... and pain!
Anyway, had an email from HR boss to say that she has emailed prospective new boss to tell her of the developments while she has been away i.e that none of the other job vacancies worked out and that I am still looking! However, she did say that we will be discussing it IN AUGUST so it looks like they are planning to keep me where I am for now.
Present manager is away for most of August and there is just not enough work for the 2 of us left in the office, but she just wont accept that. Obviously trying to hang on to her quota of staff hours. Apparently she has been asked to provide a breakdown of the duties that we do and how long they take..... they must be looking at it.
Got absolutely soaked with MrT on Friday teatime coming back from our walk. At least it was on the way home, so he kept going. if it was on the way there he wouldn't have gone any further.
I also managed to stay nearly dry on my horse ride yesterday which was great. I had a really nice time and it was lovely and fresh out. I have booked for 3 weeks time. Hopefully the car MOT wont be too expensive and I will actually be able to afford it!!!
Online shop turned up OK but they had put in substitutions and charged me nearly £3 extra  I rang their Cust Serv and they have promised to refund it. Unfortunately, the young man I spoke to sounded about 12 years old and not exactly the most confident of people. I shall watch my bank statement closely!
MrsF managed to use her washer/dryer for 7hrs 30 minutes yesterday from 2pm until 9.30pm - what can I say? HOW.... WHY..... On and On and On it went - unbelievable. Roll on a response from the Council guy - please make it soon.
MrsF was having a very dodgy (in my view) conversation with two young boys outside my flat last night. She was asking them which girls they "fancied" and talking about a boy who "fancied" her daughter. These kids are 9 or 10 years old. She even suggested that one of them write "I Love xxxx" on a wall. Am I over reacting or is this out of order? Advice, Comments, please?
It is really weird only having some of the Sky packages now. Sods law that now it has gone I want to watch a movie or something on a channel that I am not subscribing to. The grass is always greener and all that.
I had a lie in this morning and didn't wake up until 8am! unbelievable for me and it means I had 10 hours sleep. I am sure this was a catch up from this week when the Fatty family have done their best to stop me from getting a good nights sleep.
I hope everyone is well - dog walking, Grand Prix watching and a bit of cleaning lie ahead....
Speak soon
Hugs

Mrs F just sounds more and more dire.
How on earth can she afford to run the washer/dryer for 7hrs 30 mins.
As to inappropriate conversations with very young people

From the outside I would say that Mrs F is a) trying to appear cool to the youngsters, or b) has a low mental age, or c) getting a kick out of talking to them like this, or d) grooming them. The first two are sad and the other two are criminal; each one is inappropriate. I agree absolutely with people who say that our being PC has gone too far when you can't even give a crying child a comforting cuddle, but on the other hand I have worked with sex offenders. If it was me, SA, I would be doing something to bring forward that visit from the authorities. If you don't want to go to them yourself in case Mrs F suspects you, can you have a word with the neighbours who are also concerned and get them to make the phone call?
It is also extremely odd all this tumble drying. Even if you had an ill person in the house and regularly needed to do laundry surely this amount is over the top? Could they be turning on the tumble dryer to disguise the noise of some other activity?"Green pastures are before me,
Which yet I have not seen;"

Maybe she is cooking up crystal meth and using the tumble dryer to dry it?
Sorry it is the way my mind works:eek:

Hi Guys,
Yet another bad night - TV on downstairs until 1.30am. It stopped when I accidentally knocked my alarm clock to the floor trying to see what time it was... I just couldn't get to sleep and ended up getting up at 5.00am.
But.... I have had an email from a lady I met at the latest Tenants meeting. Although a fellow tenant, she works as an ASB officer for another authority. She has taken up my case :T and has emailed one of the bosses at our HA giving him a copy of the letter I have sent to the Council and also a list of things our HA should be doing. Just as I was going to file a complaint to the Enviromental Health, I shall leave it for the time being and see what happens....
MrsF had the tumble dryer on for just 4 hours yesterday - the mind boggles as to what she is washing and drying.
I heard something very worrying yesterday from an elderly neighbour. It seems the Fatty daughter, who is 9 or 10 (still at Primary school) was seen at the back of our properties "snogging" a boy. My neighbour was very worried but "doesn't want to get involved" which is not surprising, I suppose. It is all getting very uncomfortable now and I think I may have to go to the Police myself.
I am feeling a bit guilty this morningAlready in a bad mood through having no sleep, I took MrT out for his walk and he picked a bone up in the street. He wouldn't let me take it and was growling at me, so... I made him walk for 40 minutes, non stop, no wees or poos until we got home. He still refused to give it up so I have left him in the kitchen with no breakfast. I get so angry when he gets food possessive - it makes him dangerous and I wont have it. I will take him out again before I go to work and he can do his business and have a half ration breakfast but for now he can stay in the naughty room!
I have got an email from the supermarket telling me that I am being refunded my £3. The 12 yr old Cust Serv agent must have known what he was doing, after all. Perhaps I am getting old, but everyone sounds so young these days!
I am feeling so weary, I actually thought about ringing in sick but that wont look good in my efforts to change jobs and for my probation review. I know I will be working at about 50% capacity - mind you, that is all the job requiresso no harm there.
Anyway, off to get ready for work. I suppose I will have to make friends with MrT as well. Oh, the joys of taking on a rescue dog!
Hugs
