Thanks Wordsmith - As much as I love him, I don't think you realise just what a pain MrT is, and can be.... he would REALLY turn your world upside down!
I am chuffed - thanks for the kind words, as always.

Just leave him in a locked room with mama cat for half an hour, he'll be a changed man."Green pastures are before me,
Which yet I have not seen;"
I'd love to be a good example - instead, I am a horrible warning.0 -

What fantabulous news:j
I now have visions of MrT being cuffed into submission by Mama Cat:rotfl:
Work was ok today - I find myself thinking of weddings again and have been writing posts on this new wedding website and doing some research - is it bad to sit surfing the net in the name or research?
Had to confirm numbers with the the hotel today and was told that as the min number is 10 and I only have 8 people, I will still have to pay for 10:mad: Dunno why they can't be flexible like the other venue I use. Still I shall be tweeting and emailing and badgering - one guy has promised to come yet he hasnt paid and if he turns up on the day then the cost will go up to £11.50 as opposed to £10:D
Feeling headachy still and I keep going dizzy which isnt pleasant - I have pills to cope with dizzyness but will have to speak to the doctor about them because I have noticed that I have started having violent nightmares again and I am sure it is these tablets.:o0 -

Good morning diary....
I hadn't realised how many people are lurking - come out and post with us, why don't you? Actually, I lurk a bit on a couple of diaries and I always feel like I am intruding - that is probably not the case at all. All are more than welcome here.
It is pouring with rain, but I don't mind as the garden is desperate for water. A few days without lugging buckets up and down the stairs certainly suits me.
I toyed with ringing up and organising horse riding for today, I am so glad I didn't. If it is wet and miserable here, it will be 5 times worse up on the Moors. I am staying in the dry. I was very surprised that MrT agreed to go for his early morning walk this morning. Normally, when he spots rain he refuses to put one foot outside of the front door. Let's see if he wants to come and feed the ducks a bit later on.
I spent hours yesterday afternoon writing the online applications for the two vacancies and then submitting them. I have applied for both as anything is better than what I am doing at the moment. I have expressed a preference for the more complex, better paid one and that is only being advertised internally whereas the other one is open to all, but interviews ae taking place this week. If it happens, it happens. I KNOW I will get something.I put the figures through the benefits checker and I get a bit of WTC (more for the lesser paid one) and 35p HB a week .... :rotfl:
Blimmin' fuming to hear the Govt are increasing the retirement age AGAIN from 65 to 66 in 2018. I am one of the 300,000 ladies in their fifties who will have to work another year after already having had another 5 working years added. I had always assumed that I would retire at 60 to be told a couple of years ago that it would be 65 and now this. I will probably be 70 before I actually draw my State pension, the way this is going. I just see it as moving the goalposts a bit too much. I have spent the last 38 years paying Tax and N.I and now they want another 12.
I have found out this week that I am not alone in complaining about the Fatty family. It seems that at least one of my neighbours has been on to the Council and that is why Mr F has stopped playing with his remote controlled toys in the park next door. like everything they do, it was always at unsocial times and went on for too long, and someone took great exception! Hooray, Hooray, Hooray!
Not hanging around for too long, but will definitely be back on later today.
Speak soon
