Actually you've got quite stroppy in a few threads now.
Feel free to post a link to the details of this non existent £16k limit on savings for DLA claimants though.
Go right ahead."Life is what you make of it, whoever got anywhere without some passion and ambition?0 -

He's the one claiming DDA with the Leeds footy ground debacleDisclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. Perhaps he thinks David Cameron was on a low wage and had no savings when he claimed DLA for his son. :rotfl:0

What you are doing is fraud, but maybe thats why youre an ex policeman, probs a bent one
So you know my circumstances? I had the car when it was £72K, how dare you assume it was only £40K:T
And do you know the details of my payout? No, like a lot of threads, don't assume.
As for ex policeman, at least I did my service to the community! Do I assume you have sponged off the state forever or claimed for a dubious illness? No, so don't accuse me of anything like that.
As for DLA, they have had all the details of my compensation, the DWP are happy. So get back into your hole mate!
Jetta_Wales, Richie-from-the-boro, StephenM, Cpt, Scarlet, thank you all for putting this cretin right. If I worked out how much I had put in to society, and my family, who are all in the services and then get attacked by that idiot with a great imagination of who and where he has called is laughable.0 -

Spotted a car getting ticketed in the Blue Badge section of the hospital car park this afternoon. The car had a BB on display, but wasn't parked in a proper space, probably because there aren't enough of them.0

Thanks for you input StephenM,
Well that depends exactly how the car was parked, and if the BB holder had a medical appointment, if the BB vehicle ' stole ' a bit of half-on-half-off the pavement, or parked within the confines of the BB area but not in a bay and was not blocking any vehicle or their doors, a warning and a note taken of the vehicle & BB number would have been sufficient for a first offence.
If blatantly parked in a stupid place like bend / access point / dangerous place / emergency exit / ambulance bay the BB holder / and / or / the driver deserves what they get. Additionally if the BB holder was visiting and not there for a specific medical reason the BB holder / and / or / the driver deserves what they get.
In my geographic area the trust has a no clamping / no move-on policy for BB holders, in house security staff carry out all traffic procedures.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. I've seen two BB holders get ticketed for two different reasons. The first was not for displaying the clock along with the badge, the second was for placing the badge photo-side up. On the second instance I asked the traffic warden about it and he said the driver will probably be let off on appeal so long as his badge is still valid. The date was on the other side so the officer had to issue a ticket.0

Fair comment Mojo Fones,
If the BB bays are ' time limited ' I would of thought a warning would suffice, the holder if they had no Time Clock, could have registered the vehicle registration number and time parked with the reception desk in the area concerned.
The authentication date not on display is an offence and every BB holder should know this it's in the Blue Book they are issued with when they get their badge, for this one I have little sympathy. If a non BB holder parked in a disabled bay its breaking the rules, if a BB holder does not have the authentication date on display its breaking the rules, both rule breakers should be treat the same.
I do however agree with your observation that most genuine BB offences are treated leniently on appeal, and have the first offence dismissed.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion.
