glad you're OH has made an effort and hope he finds something. Families can be such a pain can't they, we'd like to go back to visit where i grew up but my Father expects us to stop with him which is just too much like hard work, especially considering that we have old family friends who we could visit with without all the added stress.

A little brighter today, have another hamper order so thats 2 to be done for the end of the month. OH went to agency and they think they might have something for him next week or week after. OH let SS away with 1 of the week's dig money whilst he was on holiday, I wasn't chuffed. SS being a cheeky so and so, asked him to empty his case so I can put it and the others back in the loft but he's not bothered his shirt.

Sorry to hear that your holiday was so horrible. What a nasty thing for your aunty to do as well, especially if you had to pay for HER friends as well as her. I wouldn't be going back for more of that. Sorry too that she couldn't resist digging the oar in about your weight. Maybe she is one of those people who believe in being cruel to be kind. But then she won't know what extra stress it would put you under.

yeah that OH might get some work. But boo that he let SS get away AGAIN with not paying his way! SIGH. Makes me really sad for you. I hope that you can turn the corner and get a better run of luck soon. But then you may have to make some hard choices to get there

ps LT just don't tell your dad your are coming back on say Wednesday say you are coming on Sunday. Then you get some time with your friends and then can see your dad afterwards......(sorry is that too evil)
I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Thanks Chev, I know you're right. SS has been offered a permanent job where he's working (its slightly lower pay than as agency and monthly paid instead of weekly). He's moaning that he'll have to make £400 last him a month  (apart from his digs he has NO outgoings). He also moaning that his car is playing up (we've been telling him for 2 months get it serviced but he's ignored us).

He won't learn. When his car fails, he will expect another handout.

Not giving him a handout Z, no way. Especially not after last night. He (SS) blew up at being asked to empty the dishwasher... I mean scarily blew up. We were both scared, I (not OH) have told him I won't put up with that behaviour and I won't be a prisoner to his moods in my own home, if he breaks anything whilst he's in a tantrum he WILL replace it. Told him he has this week to think about things and buck up his ideas or I want him out.

Now all that needs to happen is for him to believe you, like the decision about board money when he is away.

Looks like he will have to walk the same path his sister did and for the same reasons.

Morning All, I was scraping ice off the car this morning.

OH has gone into munch mode and is eating everything in sight. I bought some goodies for the fridge (reduced or special offer) which shuold have lasted a few days and he ate them all in one night! We had an almighty row last night (he's still bringing up my Auntie's behaviour as though its my fault), ended up ignoring him. He knows I'm totally fed up and I was glad to get to work this morning for a bit of peace.

On a more positive note I'm looking forward to the craft fair next week. My poor friend who is going is minus her car, someone ran into the back of it (whilst her boyfriend was driving). Trying to cheer her up. .... and done my good deed for the day, passed on a top I was given (new) that didn't fit to someone who liked it that it did fit.
