Its for 3-6 months initially Chev. Just need to wait for all my paperwork to go through. The agency said to enjoy the last week of my 'holiday'! Its really not been a holiday. If it had I wouldn't have filled out over 650 job applications!
I'm really tired today. I'd love a snooze but OH finishing at 6 tonight not 7. Sausages, mash, gravy and savoy cabbage for tea tonight so I'll cook the sausages off before I go and pick up OH. Had yet more paperwork to send off for this job.
A few things to list on ebay this week. OH went and bought me a JML dri buddy not realising I'd already bought one and he doesn't have the receipt so I'll put it on ebay.
To do this week:-
- empty my handbag (its slowly filling with junk)
- build the blue nappy cake that's been ordered
- source the rest of the pink items for the pink nappy cake ordered
- build the new home cake for OH's niece
- clear junk in livingroom
- put away all Blackpool goodies
I mustn't buy anymore YS stuff as my freezer is full. I need to start working through it all. I really want to give the house a good hoovering but can't as SS is on nightshift. Still not tried on my new suit for work, that can be one of tomorrow's jobs.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -
Up at the crack of dawn to take OH to work. Couldn't believe it when he said he'd said yes to starting so early. Waiting for SS to come in so I can move my car to back of the drive way so I can get the car out later.
Just made some breakfast, now bear with me ......... 2 slices of toast with a scrape of strawberry jam on each and then crispy bacon in between. Believe me it works!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Sourced most of the stuff for the pink nappy cake, just need a blanket and babygro's.
Today was my last day at the charity shop, I shed a few tears as did my boss and one of the other volunteers and I got a good luck card and chocolates from one of the regular customers. I'm going to make the effort to stay in touch this time as now SD is not causing utter daily mayhem in our lives this time around.
I've done all the paperwork I need to for the contractor job. I still haven't tried on my new suit, I really must get around to it. I still have quite a lot to do and my start date is now confirmed for next wednesday. I'm excited but nervousCC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Not done so well on what I wanted to achieve. Tried sourcing a blanket for the pink nappy cake and the only one Mr T had was horrible and expensive, the one I bought for the blue cake was lovely but they've sold out and aren't getting anymore.
I tried my suit on and it fits, the blouse is gaping slightly across the chest but the bigger would have drowned me. So I need to sew a few press studs onto it. I need to seriously sort out my wardrobe as most of what I have hanging up does not fit me at the moment, which means most of my stuff I do wear is lying on the bed in the spare bedroom.
I listed the other dri buddi on ebay. One's fab but I don't need two!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Today is my last day before my new job. I can't sort out my clothes for tomorrow as OH is nightshift and upstairs asleep. I wanted to get more done before starting work but I think once I'm started work I'll get more done in less time if that makes sense.
OH and I did a quick tidy up in the kitchen and out the back (couldn't put washing out as it was starting to rain) and OH emptied a salt bucket we have he's been using for his cigarette ends. He was quite disgusted and flung his cigarettes and lighter in the bin. I really hope he sticks to it, mostly for his health but also the money aspect.
Our tomatoes are finally starting to sprout but think we'll only get a couple. I also need to harvest my herbs and dry them.
How is everyone?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -

I spoke too soon, he dug them out of the bin.but he's at least only had 2 today he normally would have smoked a whole packet by now!

Thanks Piq, Pippi, just getting my suit sorted for tomorrow and my briefcase. I am pretty nervous. Is it silly wearing a very thin plain black (plastic) alice band in my hair to keep it off my face and keep me cool?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
