So I presume we would also be able to access BT Yahoo payg etc for free for 70 mins at a time through Talk Talk even and w/e for 12 months???
Yes, as long as you use the dial-up numbers I quote above (starting with 0121xxx) and not their standard 0844/5 numbers
(However it is technically against TalkTalk's T&C so if they notice they may ask you to stop!)

I hope somebody asks the question "what are all those numbers for and what do they represent". I'm too timid to ask !This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Geographic dial up numbers for the ISP's listed.
(Though from the list may be slightly out of date, from looking at some of the ISP's listed)

I have just signed up with BT yahoo but can't seem to change the dial up number, I want to change it to the 021 etc but it doesnt seem possible to change it. Does anyone know how to?Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0

Assuming you use Windows, just create a new dial up connection manually, instead of using their connection software.. using the 0121 number
If you don't know how post on the Techie boad and someone will tell you how or post to a guide (in fact its something like this)

Thanks I will try that, I have windows xp so hopefully it will still work. Does it matter which of the 021 numbers I use?Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0

I use 0121 478 9200 which works fine. If you have an ISDN line (you probably haven't and if you don't know, then you definately don't) then you should use the other number to allow bondingTo infinity and beyond!0

Myinternetpass isn't bad.
£10 for up to 3 months depending how much you use it.
Mon - Fri 6am - 6pm 2.5p per min
Mon - Fri 6pm - 6am 1.1p per min
Weekends 0.5p per min
It isn,t perfect but for me as a moderate user it normally last me 2 months which at £5 a month isn,t bad.0 -
I have set up connection for BTyahoo using the international no ie 0121 478 9200 and this connects. I am on Talk2 package, so do I now get my internet calls for nothing eves & weekends, can anyone back this up. Thanks? If not I will have to connect to 18899. At the moment I also use myinternetpass and as the previous person said, it is not perfect but it only costs me approx £5 per month. If I now subscribe to 18899 I will also be able to log on during the day via this method for 3p per time, am I correct.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0
