Florenceem, people on these threads often post about offer, but I did see this Sainsbugs one advertised on the telly...

have got a delivery from Sainsbugs coming tonight, have bought a few of the baby bits too...

I have got one of those vouchers for Waitrose to use next week, (the £20 off £40 spend as I havn't shopped there before), do any of you have any tips as to what is good to get?

At work so will catch up properly later, glad you enjoyed your kebab Quintwins and that your mouth is better, its nice when you have a takeaway that you really enjoy rather than just for the sake of it then realise it was a complete waste of money (which is what I do a lot but am remedying :D)

...My June challenge is over and I came in under which is ace....I am going to say £300 For July and mine runs from 20th June to 19th July....am wondering whether I should adjust my budget next month to make me on an even keel with everyone...I just do it like that as DH gets paid on 19th but maybe I would be better to do it a calendar month as I might not go so mad at payday or if I do it will be half way through the mont :D hmmm will think about that...
Starting with Avon C6 target sales £150.00

Can i join in for July please?? I'm hoping to keep food spends down as we want to do plenty during the summer holidays:D so please pop me down for £200 for july. I hope that's achievable, my month will run from 29th June to 27th
July and include cleaning products and alcohol.

I have lots in my cupboards and freezer and my OH has taken to doing a whoopsie shop a couple of times a week and getting some super stuff ( last night he got 2 x packs of asparagus for 30p each, 2x packs of satsumas for 20p each, 2 x ready meal paellas for 70p each and last week he got 2x plaice fillet packs for 50p each, 2 x whole chickens for 60p each and a pack of 6 pork escalopes for 50p) . Hopefully if he does this regularly we can afford a bottle of wine a week :D.

Not sure how I will shop otherwise maybe once a week after I've done my mealplan might work. I had got into an awful habit of shopping every day and ending up spending £20 a time. But the last couple have been trying to do just the once a week plan except the whoopsie shopping and mealplanning and i've managed quite a few NSD. Hopefully july and joining this thread will help me more getting inspiration from everyone here:D:D

69 chick - I don't watch a lot of TV. I will have to get in the habit of looking at SM sites weekly.

Welcome to the GC medsdemon and karen is trying

    medsdemon, some great whoopsies there!

Karen, I think its a good idea for a couple to have their own separate pocket money so they can spend as they please and no explanations required.

re the budget - like a lot of GCers. I keep my grocery money separate, some people have separate budgets for eating out, celebrations, pet food; you'll soon find a way that suits you :)

MrsMc will be along to add you to the front page list soon. Pink Winged usually starts the new month's thread on 28th, she'll post in this thread to tell us the new one is up ;)

    Good luck!
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D
