Or if you deprive them of Toblerone for a couple of days. Or mention buying Nazi gold. Or criticise the build-quality of Ikea merchandise. Or mock their army for using those funny little knives instead of guns like everyone else...
They do, indeed, go bananas if you do any of the above.

He ineptitude actually gained you a tv. What about all the ones in the queue in front of you who went away empty handed? To me, if he wants a riot on his hands then he went about it in the right way.
Or am I getting zero points for comprehension??:)( which of course is not difficult!)
There were around 8 people between me and the queue pushers, 5 out of the 8 wanted to purchase this TV, the others were just queuing to pay for another product.
I've been in situations before whereby they've ran out of product when I'm a few behind, it's annoying but I never attribute blame, just I needed to get there a bit earlier. This instance it was a failure of procedure simple as. I'm not expecting the manager to be a vigilante standing in to ensure justice, I do however expect a level of competence. Perhaps I'm just wanting the moon on a stick.0 -
lol all of that over a poor quality television.I try to help as much as I can. But I'm also honest and speak my mind.

When an offer is "while stocks last" it may not be possible to actually order more. Or rather, you can order it but the warehouse will not deliver. It's like you can go to McDonalds and ask for a Whopper. You can ask, but you won't get.
So then the customer waits a week or so only to be more angry because the manager said they could have something that is physically not possible.
The manager also can't phone another store to get it, as reserving isn't possible.
So the manager cannot get more TVs as the promotion is "while stocks last".
Is this speculation or are you an Argos employee?
I know from personal experience that mangers can often get further quantities of 'while stocks last' items because, usually, the limit is not there because the company only have X items, it's there because they only want to sell X items at the special price. It's just a technique to get people through the doors. Once the promotion is over there is plenty of stock available and the manager has certain discretion over one off pricing.
However, is you are an Argos employee and know for a fact that this was, unusually, not the case here I will bow to your specialist knowledge. Otherwise you are merely presenting speculation as fact. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -

No one Knows if the Manager could order anything. It's all speculation. The only fact is poor customer service. The rest as you say yourself is speculation (including your points)'The More I know about people the Better I like my Dog'

What like you

Yes, I know my points were speculative as well. I assumed everyone understood that.
I was just trying to determine whether Juno was actually an Argos employee with special knowledge (since she made a particularly dogmatic statement and bolded it) which could move his/her points out of the realms of speculation.
Of course, as you say, it doesn't address the merde customer service. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
Both the op and Azari are just both full of attitude and mouth, therefore I give them very little credit with their arguments.
There's 3 pages of people arguing with you because you don't conduct yourselves well therefore no one believes you or agrees with you!0
