Am i the youngest O/S money saver here?

my son just turned 11 and has been poking the ys bakery items for years, as soon as we enter mr t he zooms off round to see if his beloved donuts are reduced to 5p a bag.................he has been known to lift 50p worth and take up a drawer of the freezer! I would prefer if he took an interest in the meat lol he gets right down to the back of the fridges which is great many a cheap chicken lurks at the back!

Hello everyone I too am proud to be oldstyle:) Yes there are people who think I am daft why can't you just buy that instead of making it but they just don't get it:) I was the kind of person who many years ago wasted money not always but there were times when I could have done better to be honest. More careful now and love to make what I can and the joy you get from it knowing you made it yourself and saved money. I do love to see how much I have saved One of my sons went out to Australia a few years ago and although he does buy new when it is necessary he loves a bargain He rang me one day cheaper rate of course and he said he had found a charity shop and had gone in and bought a lovely pair of brand new shorts for a dollar He was so pleased and his fianc!e was not amused. She on the other hand spends money carelessly and I don't think she will ever get oldstyle bless her. I enjoyed reading about your son craigywv good for him

its up in your mr t Margaret that he goes lol my mum lives where you are! sometimes he flings stuff in my basket saying "now don't be shouting mum its you who made me the way I am" lol I cant pass a bargain!
