A little thanks go a long way. Most people don't mind what they do for others, but as I said Blagging a Blagger is a bit naughty imo.
Happy New Year to all.

I may appear stupid - but here goes
I've just recently started looking on here . Am I right in thinking ( from postings I've read ) that the vouchers you get in somerfield , asda magazines etc can actually be used at other supermarkets , presumably when you go through the self scan till
Can somebody please explain to me if I am on the right track ?0 -
Oh sorry , one more question - do you actually have to be buying the product the vouchers/ coupons are for , or can you just get the amount deducted off a normal shopping ?0

Yes, you can use these in other supermarkets, primarily Tesco and Asda. You don't have to buy the product and you can present them at the till. Individual stores, and cashiers within stores, vary greatly in how many they will accept. As long as they scan though you are in with a chance, hth.0 -

No, you do not have to buy the product in Tesco for them to be accepted.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

I used £20 of somerfield vouchers today on a big spend but it was more than 10%. I used the self scanners. The lady comae over and said I had done more than 10% and I should stop - she had authorised it today but to bear it in mind in the future. Fair enough.
I paid and went to leave. On my way out the same lady came up to me with security and said that I could not use the somerfield vouchers as it would leave the store out of pocket. She then went off to find out what to do. THis was after the transaction had completed. I told CS I needed to get my baby in the car and they said OK. Then CS came out to the car park with the vouchers and handed them to me saying that they couldn't be accepted. She then took my trolley, put it back for me and went inside.
Should I expect to hear anything more from them? As far as I was concerned, the till accepted the coupons and the transaction was completed.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!
