My account was successfully cancelled a week ago but no voucher. Does it come in the form of an email or is it posted out?

I had mine last week via email. I deleted my list when i sent them the 2 dvds back that way they could not send me no more and cancelled online , but they said the request was not complete as they had not recieved my dvds , a day or so later i recieved an email from them that my request for cancellation has been succesfull and they have closed my account.
