Sorry but I'm a bit thick as regards this offer. When you say you need to add 10 discs, do you actually have to go through the process of having them sent to your house and sending them back or do you just need to pick 10 titles, have the 1st one sent then once it has been returned you can cancel within the 30 days?

Thanks in advance! I can work the Mothercare deal but not these kinds of deals :(

I'm pretty sure you just have to put 10 in your queue, as not everyone will have time to actually watch and return 10 disks in 30 days. I'm not sure though if you have to make sure there are at least 10 movies in your list the whole 30 days? It would be easiest for me to just do this for streaming content, but you do have to receive at least one disk. The question is, will you still get the voucher if you clear your list after you've returned the first one and just watch streaming content for the rest of the 30 days? Anyone who does this deal, please report back on your experiences! :)

I'm really iffy about Lovefilm because they sometimes claim they never got back a final disk when someone quits in order to hold up the whole process and keep you as a paying customer until they receive the disk (which they already have gotten, so then some people have to just pay for an extra month membership AND the dvd they already returned in order to get out). There's a reason Lovefilm can afford to do so many great offers with free gifts alongside free trials, lol. I'm sure lots of people have done the trials without problems, but many other people have had all kinds of problems quitting and it makes me nervous about giving it a go. I'd prefer to just do streaming after the first disk, so as to not have any disks to return at all when I cancel, so they can't claim they didn't get something back.

    Hi there!

As I understand it... It is the latter of what you said. What they mean by "add 10 discs" is you must choose 10 DVDs that you would like to watch & thus have sent to your house. The people at Lovefilm will then send you one of the 10 DVDs from your list (depending on what titles are available). You can cancel your subscription after you have received AND SENT BACK your 1st DVD.

Very important!! --- All DVDs must be returned to Lovefilm before your 30-day free trial is up, otherwise you will get charged for the next month's subscription.

    I hope that helps : )

That would be great if you can just quit after one dvd and still get the voucher! Let us know if that works out.

I love a bargain as much as anyone but I would not go near Lovefilm ever again. Cancelling is NOT simple. They required (still do?) to set up a continuous card payment which is not covered by DD guarantee and which you have NO ability to cancel. All discs have to be back before they willl accept your cancellation and as they send another out as soon as you return one that is not straightforward. You end up taking months to cancel and paying.

Did you quit after you returned the first dvd, or at least remove all other dvds from your list so that they wouldn't send more? Or did you wait to cancel until after you got the voucher? tia

Don't think you need to have 10 items in your list, I did the offer last time and only put 2 films in the list as they were the ones I wanted to watch - still got the voucher through fine :)

As I understand it, if you sign up via quidco, or topcashback, and then change the code to receive the Amazon voucher, they don't pay the quidco or topcashback, because you changed the referring code. When you click via the cashback site, there is an automatically generated promotional code which can't be changed, so as to give the cashback site the money.

Some people have mentioned doing trials in the past, and doing them again. I did one about 3 years ago, but it was at my old address. For this trial, I used a different address, but also played safe with a new e-mail address and credit card as well. Didn't have any problems cancelling last time, as I returned the last DVD with a good few days to spare, and deleted the list so they couldn't send out any more. Just hope this trial is just as easy.
