Do you have a link to that deal? The only thing I could find gives you the 5000 points only after you've been a paying member a few months.

you are right... I didn't click through the link to read as I already signed up for the amazon offer when I noticed this.... Ignore my post then....

I did this the last time it was up and you don't need to pay for the first month to get the voucher. Once you have received your films make sure you have deleted everything else from your list so they can't try and send you anything else, send your films back and once they are marked as received back on the account then ring up and cancel. Received the voucher about a month after signing up.
For whoever said you can cancel with films still out they might have changed this since but a friend of mine got caught out about a year ago with one of trials - they wouldn't cancel while she still had items out and she ended up going over the date - so to be on the safe side would return beforehand.

    Hi

I'm interested in doing this but have done a Lovefilm trial in the past so they normally say you can't do one again. But I have seen people posting on MSE before saying they were able to repeat trials several times just by changing details/credit cards, still using the same address.

Pls does anyone know how to repeat a 2nd free trial? I tried it once some time ago and its computers still recognised me, even though I had deleted my cookies.

Tesco's site also recognises me as a prior user again despite clearing cookies - how are they able to do this?! - They seem to have some super snoopy way of knowing if you've had a trial before - but then I don't understand how others have managed to repeat it several times?

    Thx in advance.

I signed up 2 days ago still no sign of any cashback. How long does it normally take to track?

I broke down and signed up -- my first movies were supposedly sent out Tuesday and still haven't arrived, should I be worried?

Yes i'd be worried, as they're sent out first class so at most it would take 2 days to come. Usually arrives the next day though. I'd call them up.

I took out the 2 months for the price of one a couple of weeks ago now. Not had a disc yet, but cashback is tracking (TCB) and the money has been taken from my bank.
Incidentally, cashback say's 'payment amount' is £1 but was for £4.99

tracking also say's payable on the 30th june, which is VERY quick, as purchase date was 31st may!

    Will wait and see...........

Well, kicking myself for having anything to do with lovefilm. My discs still didn't arrive, so I reported them lost on the site. So they sent an email saying they will send more discs out and that the royal mail will send me a p91 form that I have to fill out. Well, I was with lovefilm once before years ago, and one time discs didn't come for a week (when they usually came in a day) so I reported them lost on the phone and was told I'd get a form. The form never came (and you can't quit lovefilm until all that stuff is cleared up). This is apparently standard practice to not get the form, and it's why I stayed away from lovefilm as they apparently find ways to keep you from quitting (though with this offer I forgot all about that until after I signed up). Fortuately, the disc turned up that time even though the form never did and I was able to send it back and quit.

Well, my discs may yet turn up this time, who knows. I took all the other films off my list so that lovefilm can't send me more as I don't want to fool with them, I want to quit as soon as I'm able. Does anyone know where I can aquire the p91 form on my own as I can't count on actually receiving it?

And I haven't gotten the 20 quid amazon voucher yet.
